《游访孔庙孔府孔林：东方的文化圣地》（节选）英译实践报告

　　曲阜的孔庙、孔府、孔林作为儒家文化发祥的圣地,每年都吸引众多外国游客前来参观,因而对“三孔”旅游资料翻译的需求也不断增加。景观翻译质量的好坏不仅直接影响外国游客的旅游兴致,而且会损害“三孔”的对外旅游形象。因此,笔者认为对“三孔”景区的翻译进行研究具有重要的现实意义。本此翻译实践的文本是选自杨朝明所著的《游访孔庙孔府孔林:东方的文化圣地》。在目的论的指导下,笔者完成了该书第一章内容的英译。目的论认为,翻译时首先要考虑翻译的目的,根据翻译目的选择合适的翻译方法。而翻译“三孔”景区的目的是向外国游客提供重要的旅游信息,帮助他们了解“三孔”景区的文化,从而激发他们的旅游兴致。弗米尔指出,译文的接受者是决定翻译目的的主要因素。因此,笔者在翻译过程中以目标受众为导向,充分考虑外国游客的阅读习惯和理解力,使译文符合目的语的语言文化习惯。本报告以笔者的翻译实践为基础,主要从词汇翻译和句子翻译两个层面分析了翻译过程中遇到的难点。具体来说,对于景点名称,主要采用音译加注和意译的方法;对于四字短语,主要采用直译和省译的方法;对于年号、庙号及谥号,主要采用省译和音译加注的方法;对于无主语句,主要采用增加主语...
