语用翻译学视角下卡明斯诗歌变异的汉译对比研究

变异作为适用于所有语言和体裁的一种非常规表现手法,其存在会加大语言和文本的理解难度。变异经常出现在英语诗歌中,更不用说伊·伊·卡明斯（E.E.Cummings,通常写作e.e.cummings）的诗歌,如“rIvInG.gRrEaPsPhOs”,“PPEGORHRASS”（George,1994:135）等就无疑增加了其源文本的理解,更不用说其汉译的难度了。那么,该如何翻译卡明斯诗歌中的变异呢?本文从语用翻译学（语用方法进行翻译研究的一部分）的角度并以语用标记等效原则（以下简写为PMEP）为指导,分析了卡明斯10首代表性诗歌并对比分析了侯国金（以下简称为侯）和邹仲之（以下简称为邹）的汉译本,拟解决以下三个问题:1)卡明斯诗歌中的主要变异有哪些?2)侯和邹在翻译卡明斯诗歌中的变异时采用了什么翻译策略,方法和技巧?3)如何评价侯和邹关于卡明斯诗歌变异译本?对于问题1),研究发现:a)词汇变异包括临时造词和偶有语义两类;b)语法变异涵盖大小写、标点符号和句子结构的违背语法常规;c)书写变异体现在字形、距离和整体排版上;d)语义变异则主要有无标点符号所引起的歧义和句子本身搭配的不合理或模糊性;...
