翻译规范理论视角下生物学文本汉译报告

　　生物学是研究生物的结构、功能、发生和发展规律的科学,包括细胞学、遗传学、生理学和生态学等多门学科,具有交叉学科的特点,其主要目的在于阐明和控制生命活动,改造自然,为工业、农业和医学等领域提供实践服务。随着现代科技的迅猛发展以及国际间生物技术领域交流的日益增强,生物学类科技文本的翻译也愈显重要。吉迪恩·图里（Gideon Toury）于上世纪六、七十年代提出了翻译规范理论,其理论核心包括预备规范、初始规范和操作规范。该理论旨在从宏观及微观角度对原文和译文进行综合性把控与考量,以便采取适宜的翻译策略来传递源语文本信息,对重在信息传播的生物学类科技文本的翻译实践具有指导意义。本翻译实践报告采用图里的翻译规范理论,以生物学英文著作What Can Nanechnology Learn From Biotechnology?为基础,从中选取由 Alan McHughen,Jeffrey Burkhardt和Margaret Mellon几位作者撰写的第二部分共约17000词作为研究对象。本报告主要包含以下三个方面:首先介绍翻译任务的要求、意义以及翻译过程;其次阐述翻译规范理论的缘起、国内外研究现...
