中国女性恭维语回应中的文化变异

【摘要】：本文所要研究的是在中国文化背景下女性对于显性恭维语(外貌,所属物)的回应策略,从而证明人们日常生活中的言语行为准则受社会文化背景的影响。在对恭维语及其回应的共性认识之外,本研究进一步探究：1)中国女性对恭维语的回应和先前Grice, Searle提出的理论有何不同；2)导致这些不同的原因是什么；3)本研究在跨文化交际领域的意义有哪止匕本研究通过对中国女性对恭维语回应的调查测试来研究不同的文化变量(年龄,教育背景,地域)对恭维这一特殊的言语行为的影响。为保证研究的真实性和可靠性,作者在图书馆进行资料查阅,实地观察录音,采集数据并用统计技术对数据进行分析。研究发现,中国女性面对对方给出的显性恭维语时,她们的回应的确符合语用原则,除此之外也证明了言语行为受相应的文化影响这一原则。
[Abstract]:This paper is to study the strategies of women's response to explicit compliments (appearance and object) in the context of Chinese culture, thus proving that the norms of speech behavior in people's daily life are influenced by social and cultural background. Beyond the common understanding of compliments and their responses, The present study further explores the differences between Chinese women's response to compliments and the previous theories put forward by Griceand Searle) what causes these differences) what is the significance of this study in the field of cross-cultural communication? In this study, the effects of different cultural variables (age, educational background, region) on flattery, a special speech act, were investigated by means of a survey of Chinese women's responses to compliments, in order to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the study. The author consulted the materials in the library, observed the recording on the spot, collected the data and analyzed the data with statistical technique. It is found that when Chinese women are confronted with explicit compliments from their counterparts, their responses do conform to pragmatic principles. In addition, they also prove that speech acts are influenced by the corresponding culture.
