从认知角度分析元语言否定的语用功能

【摘要】:元语言否定的语用功能在之前的研究中是个热门的话题。很多学者在之前的研究中探讨了许多关于元语言否定语用方面的话题,只有少数研究是以认知语言学为出发点去分析元语言否定。目前,大多数学者试图去说明究竟什么是元语言否定,元语言否定有什么样的语用功能。但是,他们没有深一步地运用认知的理论去解读语用功能的内在机制,因此本文运用认知语言学“理想认知模型”理论和“认知语境”理论解释元语言否定语用功能的内在机制。从认知的角度看,意义只存在于交际中。所以,对于元语言否定的研究一定要考虑参与对话者自身的因素以及他们所涉及的对话环境和情景。本文认为元语言否定实际上是接受信息一方在脑子里所建立的对一系列的典型模型的否定。信息接受者所创建的典型认知模型是指当交流者双方为了能使彼此交流顺畅而选择一个针对当前情景最合适的假想模型作为背景知识。元语言否定的整个过程是在两个理想认知模型之间完成的,并且这也是元语言否定不同于其他大多数否定的根本特征。 本文尝试着回答一下的问题: (1)信息接收者怎样解读元语言否定? (2)元语言否定语用功能的内在机制是什么? (3)该篇论文的主要发现对教学有什么意义与帮助? 这篇论文分五个章节展开了元语言否定语用功能的认知分析。第一章是文章的引文,主要出四个部分组成。它们分别是文章的研究背景,研究目地,研究意义和文章结构。第二章是文献综述,主要从语义,语用,认知三个方面梳理了前人的研究。第三章是论述了本文的一些理论基础,这些理论为后面研究奠定了一定的理论基础以及对相关概念进行了界定。第四章是文章的核心部分,提出了元语言否定的语用功能并且用认知理论的观点分析元语言否定的语用功能。第五章是本文的结尾,对前面几个章节的总结,总结了本文的研究发现并揭示了其潜在意义,同时也指出了本文的局限所在,为后续研究提供点滴建议。 元语言否定是否定的重要一个部分,也是一种自然地语言现象。在最近的几年,许多学者开始研究这个语言现象,但是大多数学者是从语用方面解释元语言否定,很少用认知的观点去解释元语言否定。基于前人的研究,本文用理想认知模型理论和认知情景理论对元语言否定现象的语用功能进行了阐释。并且从交际和教学方面阐述了研究的意义。
[Abstract]:The pragmatic function of metalanguage negation is a hot topic in previous studies. At present, most scholars try to explain what is meta-linguistic negation and what pragmatic function meta negation has. They have not used the cognitive theory to interpret the intrinsic mechanism of pragmatic function. Therefore, this paper uses the theory of "ideal cognitive model" and "cognitive context" in cognitive linguistics to explain the internal mechanism of meta language negative pragmatic function. From a cognitive perspective, meaning exists only in communication. The study of meta-language negation must take into account the factors of the interlocutors themselves and the dialogue environment and the situation they involve. This paper holds that meta-language negation is actually a kind of contrast in the brain of the party receiving the message. The typical cognitive model created by the information receiver means that when the communicator chooses a hypothetical model which is the most suitable for the current situation as the background knowledge in order to make the communication smooth. The whole process of meta-language negation is completed between two ideal cognitive models. And this is also the meta-linguistic negation is different from most other negation. This article attempts to answer the following questions:. (1) how do information receivers interpret metalinguistic negation? 2) what is the internal mechanism of meta language negating pragmatic function? 3) what is the significance and help of the main findings of this paper to the teaching? This thesis is divided into five chapters to analyze the negative pragmatic function of meta. The first chapter is the citation of the thesis, which consists of four parts. The second chapter is a literature review, mainly from the semantic, pragmatic, cognitive three aspects of previous research. Chapter three is to discuss some of the theoretical basis of this paper. These theories lay a certain theoretical foundation for the later research and define the related concepts. Chapter 4th is the core part of the article. This paper puts forward the pragmatic function of meta-language negation and analyzes the pragmatic function of meta-language negation from the perspective of cognitive theory. Chapter 5th is the end of this paper. At the same time, it also points out the limitations of this paper, and provides some suggestions for further research. Meta-language negation is an important part of negation and a natural linguistic phenomenon. In recent years, many scholars have begun to study this linguistic phenomenon, but most of them interpret metalinguistic negation from pragmatic aspects. There is little cognitive interpretation of metalinguistic negation. Based on previous studies, This paper uses the ideal cognitive model theory and the cognitive situational theory to explain the pragmatic functions of meta-language negation, and expounds the significance of the research from the aspects of communication and teaching.
