从关联的角度看对话口译员的角色

【摘要】：近几十年来，越来越多的研究口译以及其他学科的学者和研究人员开始尝试以跨学科的视角研究口译问题。随着口译跨学科研究的不断成熟，口译员角色定位的研究视觉和方法也得到了不断的扩大。自从Sperber和Wilson （1986a）提出关联理论以来，就引起了各领域学者的关注。作为认知和交际的关联理论，也为口译研究提供了一些非常有指导性的视角。本文作者就尝试以关联理论的视角来探讨对话口译译员的角色定位问题。关联理论的诸多角度，例如明示-推理交际模式，信息意图和交际意图，最佳关联，心理投入和语境效果，语言的解释功能，共同认知环境等为对话口译译员的定位提供了很好的指导。本文作者基于大量的文献参考和实践案例，首先从关联理论的角度分析了对话口译的两个过程，即听力理解过程和产出过程。对话口译的一个过程可以看作是一个明示-推理的交际过程，对话口译译员在其中既扮演听话者的角色又扮演说话者的角色，但是不同于一般的听话者和说话者的是，，对话口译译员必须在最佳关联原则的指导下，最好的传递原说话者的意图。另外作为对话口译译员，她/他对整个对话可以实施一些权力和控制，但是至于实施什么程度的权力和控制，怎么实施，作者希望通过介绍关联理论中语言的解释功能，最佳关联，心理投入和语境效果等概念来回答这两个问题。在论文的最后一部分，作者将在关联理论的指导下，为对话口译译员提出一些口译的应对策略，比如译前充分准备以帮助准确的理解对话双方在谈话中的意图，另外译员还应该培养跨文化意识，以扩大她/他与对话双方的共同语境，从而更好的传递他们的意图，等。另外，对话口译译者在选择具体的译文版本的也必须充分考虑听者的心理投入和能产生的语境效果这两个要素，即更多的心理投入，必须意味着能产生额外的语境效果，这样才能避免听者付出不必要的努力。
[Abstract]:In recent decades, more and more scholars and researchers in interpreting and other disciplines have begun to try to study the problem of interpretation in an interdisciplinary perspective. With the continuous maturity of interdisciplinary research, the research vision and methods of the role orientation of interpreters have also been expanded. Sperber and Wilson (1986a) have put forward relevance theory. Since then, it has attracted the attention of scholars in various fields. As a relevance theory of cognition and communication, it also provides some very instructive perspectives for interpreting studies.
The author tries to explore the role orientation of the interpreter in dialogic interpretation from the perspective of relevance theory. Many angles of relevance theory, such as ostensive inferential communication mode, information intention and communicative intention, optimal relevance, psychological input and contextual effect, language interpretation function, common cognitive environment, etc. are the orientation of the interpreter of dialogic interpretation. Based on a large number of literature references and practical cases, the author first analyzes the two processes of dialogic interpretation from the perspective of relevance theory, that is, the process of listening comprehension and the process of output. A process of dialogue interpretation can be regarded as an ostensive inferential communication process, in which the interpreter interpreters not only plays listening. The role of the speaker plays the role of the speaker, but unlike the general hearer and the speaker, the interpreter must deliver the original speaker's intention best under the guidance of the best relevance principle. In addition, as a dialogue interpreter, she / he can carry out some power and control over the whole dialogue, but as to the implementation of what has been carried out. The author hopes to answer these two questions by introducing the interpretation function of the language, the best relevance, the psychological input and the contextual effect in the relevance theory. In the last part of the thesis, the author will put forward some strategies for interpreting the interpreters in the dialogic interpreters under the guidance of the relevance theory. If the translation is fully prepared to help to understand the intentions of the two sides in the conversation accurately, the interpreter should also cultivate a cross-cultural awareness in order to expand the common context of her / his and the dialogue, so as to better convey their intentions. In addition, the translator should also take full consideration of the listener in the choice of the specific version of the translation. The two elements of psychological input and contextual effects, that is, more psychological input, must mean that additional contextual effects can be produced to avoid unnecessary effort by the listener.
