评价理论视角下汉语隐性恭维语的研究

恭维语作为一种特殊的语言现象，从十九世纪七十年代以来，国内外学者对恭维语的研究成果层出不穷。在研究早期，语言学家对恭维语的研究主要集中于显性恭维语，相关研究主要涉及语义学，社会语言学，跨文化交际学，语用学等领域。在这些领域中，对显性恭维语的话题，恭维语的应答，恭维语的性别差异等方面的研究相对较为透彻；但单独聚焦隐性恭维语的研究甚少，尤其是对汉语隐性恭维语的研究则更为缺乏。随着语言学研究的不断深入，新的语言学理论应运而生。鉴于此，本文尝试用新的理论框架—评价理论（The Appraisal Theory）对汉语隐性恭维语进行分类和深入研究。通过对隐性恭维语的系统分类以及案例分析，旨在揭示这一特殊语言现象的本质，并尝试建立一种新的分析隐性恭维语的模式。评价理论产生于二十世纪九十年代，是由著名语言学家马丁（J. R. Martin）提出的，发展至今已经形成一个较为完善的理论体系。评价理论可分为三个子系：分别是态度（Attitude），介入（Engagement）和级差（Graduation）。态度系统是探讨说话人如何对人，行为或者现象进行评价；介入系统主要分析说话人以何种方式表达个人与他人的...
