小说《家》称谓语的社会语用分析

【摘要】：作为日常社交必不可少的一部分,称谓语在当今社会交际中的作用越来越明显。依据不同的标准,我们可以将它分为不同的种类。它可作为一个词或短语来直接称呼对方,也能够以书面或口头的方式来传达说话者与听者之间的关系。称谓语不仅仅是一个语法单位,还是一个社交和语用单位。因此,我们既要从语法方面又要从语用方面来理解它。《家》的故事背景发生在新旧时代交替,“五四运动”时期现代意识和传统文化碰撞的文化背景下,所以作品中主人公称谓语的使用也呈现出新旧称谓语交替使用的特征。现代文学大师巴金是出生在一个官僚地主家庭,从小接受传统文化的熏陶,所以其作品《家》也与中国传统文化有千丝万缕的联系。本论文把研究重点主要放在社会语用方面,以巴金文学作品《家》为对象,分析称谓语选择的影响因素及其所反映的社会文化内涵。通过详细的分析,本文旨在回答下列问题:(1)《家》的称谓语可以分为哪几大类型?(2)《家》中称谓语选择的限制因素有哪些?(3)《家》中称谓语的使用反映了什么社会内涵?本文主要从语用学的角度,把《家》中的称谓语分析与Brown和Levinson的面子理论,以及Brown和Gilman的“权势”与“等同关系”概念相结合,通过分析发现:(1)《家》中的称谓语可以分为亲属称谓、社会称谓及姓名称谓三大类;(2)在《家》中,称谓语选择的主要限制因素有权势,亲疏关系,说话者的面子策略,语域等因素;(3)二十世纪初新旧两种不同的文化意识形态在中国社会各领域激烈争斗,此时处于崩溃和解体中的封建大家庭也成为中国社会文化转型的某种缩影。小说通过封建大家族高家的家庭变迁来投射中国社会传统文化的变迁过程,从而使《家》这部文学作品蕴含了深厚的社会文化内涵。而作品中主人公称谓语的使用与传统文化的关系也在很大程度上承载了部分社会文化意义。
[Abstract]:As an indispensable part of daily social interaction, the role of appellations in social communication is becoming more and more obvious, according to different standards. We can divide it into different categories. It can be used as a word or phrase to address each other directly. Address terms are not only a grammatical unit, but also a social and pragmatic unit. We should not only understand it from the aspect of grammar but also from the aspect of pragmatics. The story background of "Home" takes place in the cultural background of the collision between modern consciousness and traditional culture in the period of the May 4th Movement. Therefore, the use of the title terms of the protagonists in the works also presents the characteristics of the new and old appellations alternately used. Ba Jin, a master of modern literature, was born in a bureaucratic landlord family, and received the influence of traditional culture from an early age. Therefore, his work "Home" is also inextricably linked with Chinese traditional culture. This thesis focuses on social pragmatics, taking Ba Jin's literary works "Home" as the object. This paper analyzes the influencing factors of appellation choice and its social and cultural connotations. Through detailed analysis, this paper aims to answer the following question: 1) which types of appellations can be classified into? (2) what are the restrictive factors for the choice of appellations in "Home"? What social connotations does the use of appellations in "Home" reflect? From the perspective of pragmatics, this paper analyzes the appellations in "Home" and the face theory of Brown and Levinson. Combined with the concept of "power" and "equivalent relationship" of Brown and Gilman, it is found that the appellations in "family" can be divided into kinship terms. Social appellation and name appellation; (2) in "Home", the main limiting factors of appellation choice are power, affinity, speaker's face strategy, register and so on. In 20th century, two different cultural ideologies fought fiercely in various fields of Chinese society. At this time, the feudal family in the process of collapse and disintegration also became a microcosm of the transformation of Chinese social culture. Thus, the literary work "Home" contains profound social and cultural connotations, and the relationship between the use of the title words of the protagonists and the traditional culture also carries part of the social and cultural significance to a great extent.
