“生命抒怀”与“身份想象”——论中国现代传记体小说的叙述修辞

【摘要】：传记与中国现代小说发生真正意义上的互渗融合始于五四时期。此一时期的传记体小说在叙事上较少受制于现实的束缚,更多地倾向于诗意想象与生命抒怀,传主的"情绪性"通常遮蔽了传记的"历史感",凸显了对于现实生存的形而上的诗意化诉求。到了20世纪30年代,现代传记体小说在文体特征上被赋予了别样的色彩,在社会历史的坐标系上以审美形式诠释个体生命存在的价值意义——"身份"书写,它不仅仅是自我发展的生命确证,而且更是价值观、世界观的有效性选择问题,意味着对特定时空里的承诺、责任和义务的担当,从而确立书写主体的存在价值和意义。这种合乎某种"价值观"的身份想象图景便是30年代传记体小说的主要叙述修辞。
[Abstract]:The real fusion of biography and modern Chinese novels began during the May 4th period, in which biographical novels were less constrained by reality in narration and tended to poetic imagination and life expression. The "emotion" of the biographer usually obscured the "sense of history" of biographies and highlighted the metaphysical poetic appeal for the existence of reality. By 1930s, modern biographical novels were endowed with a different color in their stylistic features. In the coordinate system of social history, the author interprets the value meaning of the existence of individual life in the form of aesthetic appreciation-"identity" writing. It is not only the life confirmation of self-development, but also the effective choice of values and world outlook. It means the commitment, responsibility and duty to a particular time and space, thus establishing the existence value and meaning of the writing subject. This identity imagination, which accords with some "value", is the main narrative rhetoric of the biographic novel in 30s.
