从唱片经济到娱乐经济:近三十年来中国大陆流行音乐产业走向

【摘要】:自1978年改革开放以来,中国大陆流行音乐已经走过了三十多年的发展历程,但是目前学术界尚未对流行音乐产业的形成过程和发展走向进行系统研究和学术梳理,也没有形成对这个产业的整体认知。数字音乐的兴起,带来了流行音乐从创作、传播、销售到消费的产业链整体的革新,但是尚未形成比较完善的新型商业模式。为找到新的盈利模式和发展道路需要对改革开放以来的中国大陆流行音乐产业的发展走向进行梳理。 自1978年以来,中国大陆流行音乐产业化的发展经历了从唱片经济转变为娱乐经济的过程。唱片经济以唱片产业为主,唱片销售收入支撑整个产业发展。娱乐经济则综合了唱片产业、演唱会、艺人经纪等多项经营内容,演艺收入成为产业主要收入来源,歌手成为运作基点。传统唱片公司正在积极转型为以音乐和偶像为主的综合音乐公司。 从产业链的角度审视,中国大陆流行音乐产业的上游是指唱片公司的组织和经营,主要包括歌手选拔和管理制度、唱片制作和唱片宣传;中游是指唱片的发行;下游是指唱片的销售和版权授权。并可对1978年以来中国大陆流行音乐产业的走向分为以下三部分进行详细分析: 1、1978—1990年的产业积淀期,流行音乐从地下状态走向社会主流被人们接受,流行音乐产业化开始萌芽,但是市场体制刚刚萌芽,管理、法律等方面都处于边缘地带,也为以后的问题埋下了隐患; 2、1991—2000年的产业链形成期,大陆流行音乐产业真正开始自立,产业环境不断改善,形成了从唱片公司选拔歌手制度和经纪管理体系到唱片发行和唱片销售、版权授权以及目标明确的消费者市场的传统流行音乐产业链; 3、2001—2010年的产业链革新期,数字音乐兴起,对传统流行音乐产业链带来了冲击和革新,电视音乐选秀歌手带来了粉丝文化的职业化、规模化,出现了以当粉丝为职业的“职业粉丝”,演唱会、偶像所代言的产品等周边衍生产品都成为粉丝们进行消费的重要选择。大陆的流行音乐产业从最初的音乐消费为主转变为基于偶像进行的消费,电视音乐选秀歌手带来了大陆流行音乐产业的根本转型:从唱片经济到娱乐经济。 事实上,不管是传统流行音乐产业,还是数字音乐产业,音乐和歌手都是流行音乐的两个不可分割的重要组成部分,也是进行产业运作的核心和基础。从唱片经济到娱乐经济的转向,说明中国大陆流行音乐产业正在从产业的低级阶段转向产业的高级发展时期。 对青少年群体而言,流行音乐已经成为除了家庭、学校的教育之外的一种重要的教育媒介,唱片公司在积极转型为以音乐和歌手为平台的综合经纪公司以适应社会的发展之外,还应该承担起产业责任,避免流行音乐的低俗化。
[Abstract]:Since the reform and opening up in 1978, China, pop music has gone through thirty years of development, but currently the academia has not formed systematic research and combing the academic process and the development trend of the pop music industry, has not formed the overall understanding of this industry. The rise of digital music, brought pop music from the creation, dissemination sales to the consumer, the whole industry chain innovation, but has not yet formed a relatively complete new business model. To find a new profit model and development path of Chinese since reform and opening up the mainland pop music industry development trend are reviewed.
Since 1978, the development of China mainland pop music industry has experienced a transition from record economics to the entertainment economy. The economy is dominated by the recording industry record, record sales revenue to support the development of the whole industry. The entertainment economy integrates music industry, concert artists, and a number of brokerage business, entertainment industry income has become the main income the source, the singer became the operation point. The traditional record companies are actively transition to integrated music with music and the idol.
From the perspective of the industrial chain, the upstream China mainland pop music industry refers to the record company organization and management, including artist selection and management system, record production and record promotion; the middlestream is record release; downstream refers to record sales and copyright authorization. And since 1978 to China mainland pop music the industry is divided into the following three part of a detailed analysis:
From 11978 to 1990, during the industrial accumulation period, pop music was accepted from the underground state to the mainstream of the society. The pop music industrialization began to germinate, but the market system just sprouting, and the management, law and so on were all at the edge area, which also laid hidden trouble for future problems.
21991 2000 - the formation of the industrial chain, mainland pop music industry really began to self-reliance, industry environment continues to improve, formed from the record company selecting singer system and brokerage management system to record and record sales, copyright authorization and targeted the consumer market of the traditional pop music industry chain;
32001 2010 - the industry chain innovation period, the rise of digital music, the impact and innovation to the traditional pop music industry chain, TV music talent singer brought a fan culture occupation, scale, appeared in "occupation occupation when the fans for fans, concert, idol endorsements etc. surrounding derivatives the products have become an important choice for fans to consume. Mainland pop music industry from the original music consumption into idol based consumption, TV music talent singer has brought the fundamental transformation of the mainland pop music industry: from record economics to the entertainment economy.
In fact, regardless of the traditional music industry, or the digital music industry, music and singers are two important and integral part of popular music, is also the core and basis of the industrial operation. The transformation from record economics to the entertainment economy, that China mainland pop music industry is turning to the advanced development stage from the lower stage of the industry.
For the teenagers, pop music has become in addition to the family, an important educational media outside of school education, the record companies active in the transition to the music and singer based comprehensive brokerage firms to adapt to social development, should also assume the responsibility of industry, to avoid the vulgarization of popular music.
