美国三大流行音乐评奖机制比较及其当代文化意义

【摘要】:流行音乐评奖活动,是一种通过媒体公开评审上一年度音乐市场中的音乐表演者或音乐作品表现与成绩的行为活动,是音乐传播过程中连接音乐传播者与受众之间的必要中间环节。它作为一种音乐评审行为,与音乐传播者、受众均有密切的联系。在美国,最早的音乐奖是产生于电影界的奥斯卡金像奖,早在1934年就设立了最佳原创音乐奖和最佳歌曲奖。1959年诞生的格莱美奖,不仅是美国正式出现的一个专门为音乐设立的评奖活动,同时也是一个客观衡量音乐价值的方式的开始。格莱美音乐奖、全美音乐奖以及MTV音乐录影带大奖一起被称为美国三大颁奖礼。在这之后的50多年中,世界范围内的各种流行音乐评奖活动如同雨后春笋般出现,它作为一种评审流行音乐流行强度与受欢迎程度的准则与方式,越来越受到大众与各种媒体的关注,同时各种流行音乐的评奖活动也借助媒体逐渐地让受众了解奖项中的内容与设置,部分音乐奖项还可以让受众通过网络或通讯的方式参与评审。这种互动方式的增多,吸引了更多的受众去关注流行音乐和流行音乐评奖活动,因此达到了流行音乐的横向传播,实现了音乐商品本身的价值。当前,全球绝大多数国家都设有自己的音乐奖,并已经成为一个相对准确、客观的衡量音乐流行度的机制,是扩大市场需求的重要途径,更成为研究流行音乐文化的理论依据。
[Abstract]:The Pop Music Awards campaign is an act of publicly judging the performance and performance of music performers or musical works in the last year's music market through the media. It is the necessary middle link between the music communicator and the audience in the process of music dissemination. As a kind of music appraisal behavior, it has close relation with music communicator and audience. In the United States, the earliest music awards were Oscar awards from the film world, as early as 1934, the Best original Music Award and the Best Song Award, the Grammy Award, which was born in 1959. It is not only the beginning of an objective way to measure the value of music, but also the beginning of a special award-making event for music in the United States. The Grammy Awards, the National Music Awards, and the MTV Music Video Awards are known as the three major awards in the United States. Over the next 50 years or so, pop music awards have sprung up around the world as a criterion and way to judge pop music's pop intensity and popularity. More and more attention has been paid to the public and all kinds of media. At the same time, the award evaluation activities of various popular music have gradually enabled the audience to understand the contents and settings of the awards by means of the media. Some music awards can also allow audiences to participate in the review via the Internet or by means of communications. The increase of this interactive way attracts more and more audiences to pay attention to pop music and pop music awards, thus achieving the horizontal spread of pop music and realizing the value of music goods themselves. At present, most countries in the world have their own music awards, and have become a relatively accurate, objective measure of music popularity mechanism, is an important way to expand the market demand, but also become the theoretical basis for the study of pop music culture.
