美国当代科幻恐怖小说《死亡空间：殉道者》的翻译实践与认识

【摘要】：恐怖小说是通俗小说的一种类型，属于大众文学。这种类型的小说，内容以恐怖为主，意图带给读者恐怖感，亦即达到产生使其恐惧，其独特的恐怖氛围吸引了大量读者。流畅的叙事和恐怖的氛围是恐怖小说的两个非常重要的方面，而恐怖气氛的营造则离不开作者生动的描写。本翻译项目Dead Space: Martyr便是一个我们了解美国流行恐怖小说创作的极佳案例。译者在翻译恐怖小说时，需要留心译文的叙事是否流畅、易于阅读，细节描写是否在译文中处理得很好，原文的气氛是否在译文中得到再现。本文认为，这应成为恐怖小说翻译研究中重要的内容，故而对词句把握处理成为了此次翻译的关键。本书除了大量恐怖场景描写之余，还参杂了大量专业名词，这也给小说的翻译构成了挑战。本翻译报告将依托该翻译案例，系统介绍翻译流程，并重点对翻译过程中遇到的问题、译者处理的方法以及翻译感悟进行总结。翻译报告共分为四个部分，分别为：任务描述、任务过程、案例分析和实践总结。任务描述部分详细说明了选择该项目的过程和原文特点；任务过程部分描述了译前的背景知识准备、技术性准备和翻译理论准备，，以及翻译时间安排；案例分析部分选取翻译中有代表性的词语和句子翻译来说明译者使用的翻译方法；实践总结部分系统总结了整个翻译报告。本项目翻译以及报告旨在介绍美国当代恐怖文学，同时帮助中国的学生和翻译爱好者更好地理解和学习翻译。
[Abstract]:Horror fiction is a type of popular fiction, belongs to the popular literature. This type of novel, content to terror, intent to bring readers a sense of terror, that is to make the fear, the unique atmosphere of terror has attracted a lot of readers. Smooth narration and horror atmosphere are the two important aspects of horror fiction however, to create an atmosphere of terror, cannot do without the author's vivid description.
This translation project Dead Space: Martyr is a prime example of our understanding of American popular horror fiction creation. In the translation of horror novels, the narrative should be mindful of whether or not smooth, easy to read, describing the details of whether in the translation process very well, the atmosphere is reproduced in the translation. This paper argues that it should become an important content of horror fiction translation studies, so to grasp the words processing it has become the key to the translation of the book. In addition to describe a large number of terrorist scene I also mixed with a large number of professional terms, it is also a challenge for small said translation. This translation report will rely on the translation case, introduced the system of translation process, and focus on the problems during the process of translation, translator and translation perception processing method are summarized.
The translation report is divided into four parts, respectively: task description, task process, summed up the case analysis and practice. The task description detailed description of the selection process and the characteristics of the project; the task process describes the background knowledge preparation before translation, prepare technical preparation and translation theory, translation and schedule; the case analysis part in the translation of selected representative words and sentences to illustrate the translation methods used by the translator; the practice part summarizes the whole translation. This translation project report and the report aims to introduce the United States contemporary horror literature, while helping students China and translation lovers a better understanding and learning.
