王国维美学研究的动因

【摘要】: 王国维在中国美学史上有独特的地位。对王国维的研究主要集中在他的年谱、传记、美学思想、文学批评等领域。考察王国维美学研究的动因有助于全面了解王国维的学术思想,明晰王国维的美学思想来源和他的学术转向。 本文以王国维的治学经历和美学研究的内容为根底,挖掘王国维美学研究的动因。心理学一般认为:动因分为驱力和诱因。王国维美学研究的内在发端是对知识和感情的双重需要,这在他的学术观念和学术行为上都有体现。王国维抱着“无用之用”的观念研究美学。美学的功利性与无功利性的统一满足了王国维对纯粹知识的追求和情感需要。王国维的知识欲求表现在勤于思考,建构自己的学术体系和人生的自我设计。王国维的情感世界是对个体生命的忧虑和对他者的人本关怀。他的灵魂之苦来自先天的个性气质,也来自于后天的文化修养和生命经历。王国维希望以审美和美育获得情感的慰藉,解决忧生、忧世的问题。王国维美学研究是在西学东渐和传统学术变迁的背景之下发生的。西学在中国的传播有三个层次——器物层面、制度层面、文化层面。西学东渐三个层次的渐变在王国维的学术选择中都有体现。王国维身处的时代是中国传统士大夫向近代知识分子转型的时期,深受传统学术的影响,他的思维特点和行为方式体现了传统士大夫艰难的转型过程。王国维研究美学还受到了同时期学人的影响。王国维美学研究的动因深刻而独特,决定了他的美学特色,为后世开创了为真理、为人生的学术传统。
[Abstract]:Wang Guowei has a unique position in the history of Chinese aesthetics. The study of Wang Guowei mainly focuses on his chronology, biographies, and aesthetic thoughts. The investigation of the motivation of Wang Guowei's aesthetic research is helpful to the comprehensive understanding of Wang Guowei's academic thought, the source of his aesthetic thought and his academic turn. This paper is based on Wang Guowei's academic experience and aesthetic research. Explore the motivation of Wang Guowei aesthetic research. Psychology generally believes that motivation can be divided into drive and inducement. The intrinsic origin of the aesthetic study of Wang Guowei is the dual need of knowledge and emotion. This is reflected in his academic ideas and academic behavior. Wang Guowei holds "useless use." The unity of utilitarianism and non-utilitarianism of aesthetics satisfies Wang Guowei's pursuit of pure knowledge and emotional needs. Wang Guowei's desire for knowledge is manifested in diligent thinking. Wang Guowei's emotional world is worried about the individual life and the humanistic concern for the other. The suffering of his soul comes from his innate personality. Wang Guowei hopes to get emotional comfort with aesthetic and aesthetic education to solve the problem of life. Wang Guowei's aesthetic research took place under the background of the eastward development of western learning and the traditional academic changes. There are three levels of dissemination of western learning in China: the level of artifacts and the level of system. Cultural level. The gradual change of three levels of western learning to the east has been reflected in Wang Guowei's academic choice. Wang Guowei is in the era of the transition from Chinese traditional literati to modern intellectuals, deeply influenced by the traditional academic. His thinking characteristics and behavior mode reflected the difficult transition process of the traditional literati officials. Wang Guowei's study of aesthetics was also influenced by the scholars of the same period. The motive of Wang Guowei's aesthetic research was profound and unique. It determines his aesthetic characteristics and creates the academic tradition of truth and life for later generations.
