维柯及其《新科学》研究

【摘要】： 在近代西方思想史上，维柯是一位地位特殊的大家。他的代表作《新科学》思想丰富，见解独特。但在当时许多人看来，《新科学》内容过分庞杂，晦涩难懂。因此，在同时代的思想家中，人们关注更多的是笛卡尔、培根、莱布尼兹、洛克、霍布斯等人，对维柯则缺乏深入的探讨和了解。然而，从西方近现代思想文化史来看，维柯和《新科学》为后来许多观点迥异的思想家及其理论奠定了基础。19—20世纪许多新的理论都可以从《新科学》中找到萌芽和渊源。因此，比较系统地剖析梳理维柯和《新科学》的思想及其影响，特别是美学、人类学思想和影响，对促进美学、文艺学建设和国内的维柯研究，应该有比较重要的意义。本文力图剖析和梳理维柯和《新科学》的思想及其影响，并探讨其在西方美学史和文化史上的地位。论文除“引言”、“结语”外，正文分为两章。第一章从三个方面解读维柯其人。第一节联系维柯的生平与时代，指出维柯学术思想的形成过程以及维柯的命运；第二节通过比较研究指出维柯与柏拉图、笛卡尔、舍夫茨别利、培根、格劳秀斯等思想家的关联性；第三节探讨维柯《新科学》之外的其它著作，力图全面考察其思想的复杂性。第二章从六个方面解读《新科学》。第一节论述《新科学》的认识论和题旨，指出《新科学》的认识论是真理——创造物原则，，由此维柯试图创立一门“新科学”，即与自然科学相对的人文社会科学或者说文化哲学；第二节论述《新科学》的方法论：题材与学说的统一、经验与理性的统一；第三节论述《新科学》历史观：历史循环三阶段论、人类历史是由人类自己创造出来的，并提及其对人类学、美学的影响；第四节论述诗性智慧及其美学、文艺学影响；第五节论述《新科学》的想象理论及其美学意义和影响；第六节论述“发现真正的荷马”的内涵以及对社会历史批评的开创性意义。
[Abstract]:In the modern history of western thought, Vico is a special person. His masterpiece, New Science, is rich in ideas and unique in opinion. But for many at the time, the contents of New Science were too complicated to understand. Therefore, among contemporary thinkers, people pay more attention to Descartes, Bacon, Leibniz, Locke, Hobbes, etc. However, from the view of the western modern ideological and cultural history, Vico and New Science laid the foundation for many thinkers and their theories with different views. Many new theories in the 19th and 20th century can be found in the germination and origin of New Science. Therefore, the systematic analysis of Vico and New Science and its influence, especially aesthetics, anthropology and influence, should be of great significance to the promotion of aesthetics, literature and art construction and domestic Vico study. This paper tries to analyze and sort out Vico and New Science's thought and its influence, and discuss its position in the history of western aesthetics and culture. Besides introduction and conclusion, the text is divided into two chapters. The first chapter interprets Vico's people from three aspects. The first section points out the formation process of Vico's academic thought and the fate of Vico. The second section points out Vico and Plato, Descartes, Schaftsbury, Bacon through comparative study. The third section discusses the other works besides Vico's New Science and tries to investigate the complexity of his thoughts. The second chapter interprets New Science from six aspects. The first section discusses the epistemology and purpose of "New Science", points out that epistemology of "New Science" is the principle of truth-creation, and thus Vico tries to create a "new science". The second section discusses the methodology of "New Science": the unity of subject matter and theory, the unity of experience and reason; The third section discusses the historical view of "New Science": the theory of three stages of historical cycle, the human history is created by mankind itself, and the influence on anthropology and aesthetics is mentioned, the fourth section discusses poetic wisdom and its influence on aesthetics, literature and art. The fifth section discusses the imagination theory of "New Science" and its aesthetic significance and influence, and the sixth section discusses the connotation of "discovering the Real Homer" and the groundbreaking significance of social and historical criticism.
