关于网络艺术研究

【摘要】:自从上世纪60年代末,全球第一个用于军事的计算机网络ARPAnet建立起,互联网已经伴随人类走过半个世纪。但在其发展初期并没有得到普及和重视,直至20世纪90年代后Internet的全球化建设才使网络走近寻常百姓家,改变着人类的生活。借助于网络的艺术形式如雨后春笋般脱颖而出,由此网络艺术应运而生。今天它已经成为人类生活中不可或缺的一部分。而在人类发展史中,科学和艺术总是像一对孪生兄弟如影随形,科技的高速发展必然会催生出新的艺术形式,艺术发展同时也对科技提出新要求。 与此同时,在新思潮的席卷下各种新的艺术形式随着工业时代的逝去和信息时代的到来也破壳而出。与其它新媒体形式一样,网络艺术这种新的艺术形式是科技发展到一定程度下的产物。而随着数字信息技术与网络技术的发展,网络艺术将何去何从? 本文通过对网络艺术史的追溯和对其结构和本质的考量,分析其在新媒体艺术旗下与其它艺术形式的区别和联系。确立“互动”在网络艺术中的必然归属地位和不可剥离的关系。研究网络艺术的传播形式和互动性的网络艺术对人类未来生活的意义。展望网络艺术这种强大的艺术载体在未来人类数字化生活中作用,以便为网络艺术的发展提供思路。本文共四个部分,主要内容如下: 第一部分,首先对网络艺术的发展进行追溯,对其在人类发展史和新思潮中的地位进行分析,并论述网络艺术在过去的时间里对人类生活造成的影响。 第二部分,通过对网络艺术本身进行全面剖析,分析其艺术传播形式和其它艺术形式的区别,,最终确立其“互动性”的本质特征。传统的信息传播方式是单向的,受众也只能被动的接受,而网络的应用使人类接受信息的方式有了质的变化。网络产生的那一刻起人们就开始使用计算机语言有选择的接受信息,这就是“互动性”的初期体现,也是网络艺术的本质特征。 第三部分,阐述并揭示互动成为网络艺术本质特征的必然。研究网络艺术不仅仅要关注其传达了什么,更重要的是看他怎么传达的,领略由交互营造的虚拟现实的空间。 第四部分,展望网络艺术的发展和人类未来的数字化生活。
[Abstract]:Since the establishment of the world's first military computer network, ARPAnet, in the late 1960s, the Internet has been with humanity for more than half a century. However, in the early stage of its development, it was not popularized and paid attention to, until the globalization of Internet in the 1990s made the network approach the common people's house and changed the human life. With the help of the art form of the network like bamboo shoots, network art emerged as the times require. Today it has become an integral part of human life. In the history of human development, science and art are always like twin brothers, the rapid development of science and technology will inevitably give birth to a new art form, art development also put forward new requirements for science and technology. At the same time, with the passing of the industrial age and the arrival of the information age, all kinds of new art forms have emerged under the new trend of thought. Like other new media forms, network art is the product of the development of science and technology to a certain extent. With the development of digital information technology and network technology, where will network art go? Through tracing back to the history of network art and considering its structure and essence, this paper analyzes its differences and relations with other art forms under the new media art. It is necessary to establish the relationship of "interaction" in the network art. This paper studies the communication form of network art and the significance of interactive network art to the future life of human beings. This paper looks forward to the role of network art, a powerful artistic carrier, in the future digital life of human beings, in order to provide ideas for the development of network art. There are four parts in this paper, the main contents are as follows: In the first part, the author traces the development of network art, analyzes its status in the history of human development and the new trend of thought, and discusses the influence of network art on human life in the past time. The second part, through the overall analysis of the network art itself, analyzes the differences between its art communication form and other art forms, and finally establishes its "interactive" essential characteristics. The traditional way of information dissemination is one-way, and the audience can only passively accept it, and the application of network makes the way of receiving information change qualitatively. From the moment the network came into being, people began to use computer language to receive information selectively, which is the initial embodiment of "interactivity" and the essential feature of network art. The third part expounds and reveals the necessity of interaction as the essential feature of network art. To study network art, we should not only pay attention to what it conveys, but also see how it communicates and appreciate the virtual reality space created by interaction. The fourth part, looks forward to the development of network art and human future digital life.
