目的论视角下唐宋词中叠词的翻译研究

【摘要】:21世纪可谓是中国的世纪,中国的经济和文化对21世纪世界的发展进步都起到非常重要的作用。而事实证明也是如此。中国文化,尤其是中国文化典籍的可译性,翻译界一直给予关注。一直以来,中国都以其浓厚的民族文化底蕴闻名于世,而中国词可以堪称中国文化中的一枚奇葩,荡漾在中国文明历史的文化瑰宝之中,昭示着中华民族深蕴的文化信息和劳动人民的聪明才智,向世人呈现了一个毋容置疑的充满魅力、抒情性强和意境深邃的世界。中国的词是三千多年悠久文化与文明的结晶。叠词以其艺术表现力和蕴涵的深厚文化及情感内涵,可以称为是中国词这朵奇葩上的晶莹的露珠,因此,研究中国词中叠词的英译是一个迫切而现实的话题。 叠字蕴涵着深厚文化及情感内涵,因而,对“词”中叠词的翻译是传播中国传统文化的一个重要手段。然而,在跨文化交际的翻译过程中,由于中西巨大的文化差异,叠字的翻译上必然会有很大的困难。翻译上稍有差池,就可能会使目的语失去原语本身所带的文化色彩以及感情色彩等等,这样,译词读者也就不可能领略到原词读者阅读“词”时所领略到的中国词音韵、意境等韵味。 本文的研究思路是:从叠词的分类、中西文化中叠词的异同点以及唐宋词中叠词翻译的研究现状出发,找出唐宋词中叠词翻译问题所在以及问题产生的原因。在此基础上,提出唐宋词中叠词的翻译策略。首先,介绍叠词的含义、分类以及中西文化中叠词的异同点。然后,详细阐述本文的理论框架—目的论,主要围绕目的论的定义、特点、发展以及翻译三原则。最后本文的作者运用目的论研究其对中国唐宋词中叠词的翻译的指导作用并提出翻译方法,从而将目的论成功运用到中国唐宋词中叠词的翻译中,使得翻译者能够很好地弘扬中国古典诗词的文化,克服叠词翻译障碍难关,增强翻译者在翻译过程中的诗歌文化意识。 本文共包括六部分: 第一章为前言部分,介绍本文的研究背景、目的以及研究的意义等。当今世界,国际化、全球化日益发展,国际间交流变得日益密切,中国典籍在国外读者中也是越来越受欢迎。本文通过对唐宋词中的叠字及其英译的研究,希望能够对中国古典“词”文化的向外“输出”起到抛砖引玉的作用。翻译的目的论不仅突破了等值翻译论或对等翻译论的框框,而且把翻译置于行为理论和跨文化交际的范畴进行研究,同时也强调了译者应该根据译文的预期功能或目的来决定自己的翻译策略。本文试图通过从目的论的翻译原则出发,研究目的论对唐宋词中叠词的翻译方法的指导作用。 第二章为文献综述部分,主要介绍叠词的定义、分类以及中西文化中叠词的异同点,以及唐宋词中叠词翻译研究的现状以及翻译中的一些问题。叠字以其艺术表现力和蕴涵的深厚文化及情感内涵,因而,对“词”中叠词的翻译是传播中国传统文化的一个重要手段。因此,成功地翻译唐宋词中的叠词是翻译界面临的一项重要任务。虽然目前我国的研究者已经对唐宋词中的叠词做了研究,但是仍然存在一些问题。 第三部分为本文的理论部分。目的论(Skopos Theory)是在赖斯的翻译功能论基础上发展起来的翻译理论,是功能派翻译理论的核心。翻译目的论是将Skopos概念运用于翻译的理论,其核心概念是:翻译过程的最主要因素是整体翻译行为的目的。翻译的目的论不仅突破了等值翻译论或对等翻译论的框框,而且把翻译置于行为理论和跨文化交际的范畴进行研究,同时也强调了译者应该根据译文的预期功能或目的来决定自己的翻译策略,这一理论对于目的性很强的古典诗歌中的叠词的翻译有一定的指导作用。 第四章为本文的研究方法部分,简要介绍本文所采用的分析方法、研究问题以及数据收集。 第五部分为本文的主体部分。作者在此介绍在目的论的视角下,即在目的论三大翻译原则—目的原则、连贯性原则以及忠诚原则,如何选取对于唐宋词中叠词翻译的相关策略。在翻译过程中,翻译者不仅要充分了解到译文读者与原语作者与读者的认知语境的差异性,而且要对读者阅读译文了解译文的目的做出正确的判断与假设,尽量在译文读者的认知范围内为读者创造出实现某种阅读目的的最佳译文。在这一部分,本文提出译者可以采取具体的翻译策略,例如直译、意译、略译、重复等等,在译文中充分考虑译文读者的角色与作用,努力达到文内及文外的连贯性,使译文达到完美的妥善性。作者仔细研究讨论了在目的论的基础上,对中国唐宋词中的叠词进行分析,提出不同的翻译策略。 第六章为本文的总结部分。首先作者对本文进行归纳与总结,提出本文的研究发现,其次指出本文存在的缺陷与不足,并为今后在此课题上的进一步研究提出建议。 本文的主旨是:在目的论对翻译活动有指导作用的基础上,从目的论翻译三原则对中国唐宋词中叠词的英译进行研究与分析,并举例分析在目的论的指导下,中国唐宋词中叠词应该如何翻译达到最佳目的,本文作者希望对唐宋词中乃至中国古典诗词中叠词的翻译研究有所推进和起到一定的促进。
[Abstract]:The twenty-first Century is the century of China. China's economy and culture have played a very important role in the development and progress of the world in twenty-first Century. And it has been proved by the fact that the translatability of Chinese culture, especially the Chinese cultural classics, has always been paid attention to. Chinese words can be called a wonderful flower in Chinese culture, rippling in the cultural treasures of Chinese civilization, showing the profound cultural information of the Chinese nation and the wisdom and wisdom of the working people, showing a world of no doubt, full of charm, strong lyric and profound meaning. Chinese words are three thousand years old. The crystallization of culture and civilization. The superimposition of words with its artistic expressiveness and profound cultural and emotional connotation can be called the crystal dewdrop of the Chinese word. Therefore, it is an urgent and realistic topic to study the English translation of the superposition in Chinese words.
The reduplication contains profound cultural and emotional connotation, so the translation of the superposition in the word "word" is an important means to spread Chinese traditional culture. However, in the process of translation of intercultural communication, the translation of reduplication will inevitably have great difficulties due to the great cultural differences between China and the West. To lose the cultural and emotional color of the original language itself, it is impossible for the readers to appreciate the Chinese word, meaning, artistic conception, and so on when the original word readers read the word "word".
From the classification of the superposition, the similarities and differences of the overlapping words in Chinese and Western culture and the present situation of the study of the translation of the superposition in the Tang and Song Ci poems, we find out the reasons for the problem of the superposition translation in the Tang and Song Ci poems and the reasons for the problems. The similarities and differences between Chinese and Western cultures, and then, the theoretical framework of this article, teleology is described in detail, focusing on the definition, characteristics, development and translation of the three principles. Finally, the author uses the Skopos Theory to study the guidance of the translation of the superposition in the Chinese Tang and Song Ci and put forward the translation method, so that the skopos theory is successfully transported. In the translation of the words in the Chinese Tang and Song Dynasties, the translator can carry forward the culture of Chinese classical poetry, overcome the difficulties of the obstacle of the superposition and enhance the cultural consciousness of the translator in the process of translation.
This paper consists of six parts:
The first chapter is the preface, which introduces the background, purpose and significance of the study. The world, internationalization, globalization, and international exchanges become increasingly close. Chinese classics are becoming more and more popular among foreign readers. This article hopes to be able to study China through the study of the reduplication and its English translation in the Tang and Song Ci The "output" of the classical "word" culture plays an important role. The skopostheology of translation not only breaks through the frame of equivalence translation theory or equivalence translation theory, but also puts translation in the field of behavior theory and intercultural communication, and emphasizes that the translator should decide on the intended function or purpose of the translation. This paper attempts to study the guiding role of Skopos Theory in the translation of reduplicated words in Tang and Song Dynasties from the perspective of Skopos theory.
The second chapter is the literature review part, which mainly introduces the definition of the superposition, the classification and the similarities and differences between the Chinese and Western culture, as well as the status of the study of the superposition in the Tang and Song dynasties as well as some problems in the translation. As an important means of traditional culture, it is an important task for the translation circle to successfully translate the superposition in the Tang and Song Ci poems. Although the researchers in our country have done the study of the words in the Tang and Song Ci, there are still some problems.
The third part is the theoretical part of this article. Skopos Theory is the translation theory developed on the basis of Rice's translation function theory. It is the core of the functionalist translation theory. Translation skopos is the theory of applying the concept of Skopos to translation. The core concept is that the most important factor in the translation process is the order of the whole translation behavior. The Skopos Theory of translation not only breaks through the frame of equivalence translation theory or equivalent translation theory, but also studies translation in the field of behavior theory and intercultural communication, and emphasizes that the translator should determine his own translation strategy according to the intended function or purpose of the translation. This theory is a classical poem with a strong purpose. The translation of the overlapped words has a certain guiding role.
The fourth chapter is the research method of this article. It briefly introduces the analysis methods, research questions and data collection.
The fifth part is the main part of this paper. The author introduces in the perspective of Skopos, that is, in the three major translation principles of Skopos theory, the principle of purpose, the principle of coherence and the principle of loyalty, how to select the relevant strategies for the translation of the superposition in the Tang and Song Ci poetry. The difference between the cognitive context of the reader and the reader, and the correct judgment and hypothesis for the reader to understand the target of the translation, and to create the best translation for the reader to achieve a certain reading purpose as far as possible in the cognitive range of the target readers. "Free translation", "free translation", "repeat", "Repetition" and so on, take full consideration of the role and function of the readers in the translation, strive to achieve the coherence in the text and outside the text so as to achieve the perfect and proper translation. The author carefully studies and discusses the analysis of the superposition in the Chinese Tang and song words on the basis of the skopos theory, and puts forward different translation strategies.
The sixth chapter is the summary of this article. First, the author makes a summary and summary of this article, puts forward the findings of this paper, and then points out the shortcomings and shortcomings of this article, and puts forward some suggestions for further research on this topic.
The main purpose of this paper is: on the basis of the guiding role of Skopos Theory on translation activities, this paper studies and analyses the English translation of superposition in Chinese Tang and Song Ci poems from the three principles of Skopos translation, and gives an example of how the Chinese Tang and Song Ci poems should be translated into the best purpose under the guidance of Skopos theory. The author hopes that the words in the Tang and Song dynasties are in the words of the Tang and Song dynasties. The study of reduplication in classical Chinese poetry has been promoted and promoted.
