小说中反讽翻译的文学文体学研究

【摘要】: 反讽翻译长期以来是文学翻译中的一个难题。本文旨在证明运用文学文体学途径,能够为小说中的反讽翻译提供一种行之有效和客观合理的评价方式,从而提高小说翻译质量。 在导论中,本文回顾了反讽的概念,分类及反讽翻译的研究现状,指出目前对反讽翻译研究的不足原因主要在于缺少一个系统的分析方法和客观的指导原则,因此有必要找出一种行之有效,令人信服的解决途径。就此问题,本文在理论论证部分首先导入了文学文体学的概念,研究对象和研究模式,论证了其解决小说中反讽翻译及其批评的可行性和合理性。由于反讽运用在小说中不仅仅是一种修辞手段,更是将作者观察,审视周围世界的态度融入其作品当中的一种写作风格,因此本文指出,小说中反讽翻译的标准应当是“风格对等”,即在保持原作的主题意义和美学价值的同时,保留原作的基本内容。在此基础上,本文试拟出了小说中反讽翻译的三个主要步骤。接下来,本文指出了小说中的反讽翻译,极易出现“假象等值”问题,即译文与原文所指相同但文学价值或文学意义不同。并提出,这一现象只有在译者具备充分的文学文体学意识,且时刻将“风格对等”作为翻译准则的情况下,才能够最大程度的避免。 在译本分析和比较部分,本文以奥斯丁的《傲慢与偏见》三个中文译本中的反讽翻译为例,运用文学文体学途径进行了细致的分析与比较,指出不同译本均不同程度地存在“假象等值”现象,并在此基础上适时地提出了自己的翻译方法。 结论部分概述了本文的主要观点和研究价值,同时也分析了该研究中可能出现的主要问题,并指出改进的方法和将来研究的方向。 本文认为,将文学文体学方法运用于小说中的反讽翻译及其批评中,可以提高译者对小说中反讽语言形式的美学功能的感知,促使译者使用风格对等的语言形式,从而提高小说翻译质量。
[Abstract]:Irony translation has long been a difficult problem in literary translation. The purpose of this paper is to prove that the use of literary stylistic approaches can provide an effective and objective and reasonable evaluation method for irony translation in novels, thus improving the quality of novel translation. In the introduction, this paper reviews the concept, classification and research status of irony translation, and points out that the main reason for the lack of research on irony translation is the lack of a systematic analysis method and objective guiding principles. Therefore, it is necessary to find an effective and convincing solution. In the part of theoretical argumentation, this paper first introduces the concept of literary stylistics, the research object and the research model, and demonstrates the feasibility and rationality of its solution to the irony translation and its criticism in the novel. Since irony is used in the novel not only as a rhetorical device, but also as a writing style in which the author observes and examines the world around him, this paper points out that, The standard of irony translation in the novel should be "style equivalence", that is to say, while preserving the thematic meaning and aesthetic value of the original work, the basic content of the original work should be preserved. On this basis, this paper tries to draw up three main steps of irony translation in the novel. Next, this paper points out that irony translation in the novel is prone to the problem of "false equivalence", that is, the translation is the same as the original text, but its literary value or meaning is different. It is proposed that this phenomenon can be avoided only if the translator has sufficient literary stylistic consciousness and always regards "style equivalence" as the translation criterion. In the part of translation analysis and comparison, this paper takes the irony translation in Austen's three Chinese versions of Pride and Prejudice as an example and makes a detailed analysis and comparison by means of literary stylistics. It is pointed out that the phenomenon of "false equivalence" exists in different versions, and on the basis of this, the author puts forward his own translation methods. The conclusion part summarizes the main viewpoints and research value of this paper, and also analyzes the main problems that may appear in this study, and points out the improved method and the direction of future research. This paper argues that the application of literary stylistics to the translation of irony and its criticism can enhance the translator's perception of the aesthetic function of irony in the novel and promote the translator to use stylistically equivalent language forms. So as to improve the quality of novel translation.
