局限与拓展——中国公共艺术状况及问题刍议

【摘要】：中国近30年来的城市公共艺术的演进,经历了从纪念性、叙事性到唯美性及装饰性,再到多元化及综合性的类型和观念的变化。然而在上世纪晚期的实践中大都是重在视觉形式的美学追求和以"城市雕塑"方式为主的审美经验的表达,缺乏与社会现实的对应和公共参与。在进入21世纪之后至近期,随着城市再开发和社会文化的多元化发展,国内公共艺术的观念与实践开始逐渐关注艺术与现代城市职能的关系,以及艺术与公众日常生活的关系,从另一侧面显现其公共性、当代性。从而使得艺术介入城市公共空间的建构,并使艺术审美与社会性、地域性、场所性、功能性、生态性等诉求的整体关照成为其前沿问题。由于城市文化与社会生活的历时性和动态性,决定了公共艺术必然是现当代艺术的一个有机部分,适时、因地、多维度地反映社会生活中的情感、新知和问题,恰是公共艺术的重要职责和文化属性之一。因此,短期性艺术在表达公共意见及文化批评方面具有恒久性陈列的艺术所欠缺的功能和价值,它势必成为国内公共艺术成长的组成部分。
[Abstract]:The evolution of urban public art in China in the past 30 years has undergone changes from memorial, narrative to aesthetic and decorative, to pluralistic and comprehensive types and concepts. However, in the practice of the late last century, most of them are the aesthetic pursuit of visual form and the expression of aesthetic experience mainly in the form of "urban sculpture", lacking of correspondence with social reality and public participation. After entering the 21st century, with the development of urban re-development and the pluralistic development of social culture, the concept and practice of public art in China began to pay attention to the relationship between art and the function of modern city, as well as the relationship between art and the daily life of the public. From the other side to show its public, contemporary. Thus, the art intervention in the construction of urban public space, and art aesthetic and social, regional, locale, functional, ecological and other demands for the overall care of its forward issues. Due to the diachronic and dynamic nature of urban culture and social life, public art is bound to be an organic part of modern and contemporary art. It is one of the important duties and cultural attributes of public art. Therefore, the short-term art has the function and the value which the permanent display art lacks in expressing the public opinion and the cultural criticism, and it is bound to become the component of the domestic public art growth.
