《流沙》五个章节翻译实践的反思性报告

【摘要】：本翻译报告是在对《流沙》节选部分的研究以及本人对其进行的英汉翻译实践分析的基础上形成的。该部小说由美国黑人女作家内拉·拉森所著。《流沙》是一部颇具自传色彩的小说。该小说探讨了美国白人主流文化对美国黑人女性形象的扭曲和变形。 在此翻译项目中，，作者从原文中节选了五章（第三章至第七章）进行英汉翻译。节选部分讲述了女主人公从纳克萨斯到芝加哥，再到纽约追寻内心归属感的心路历程。该部分生动地再现了大量的心理活动和自然景象，语言颇具创造性和复杂性。 本报告主要分为四部分，即原文分析、翻译过程综述、翻译难点及解决过程、对美国黑人女性小说翻译的几点意见。分析主要着眼于翻译过程中涉及的翻译问题，包括句法、词汇和修辞方面的难点及其相应的解决策略。作者希望该翻译报告能为更好地理解和翻译美国黑人女性小说提供些许借鉴。
[Abstract]:This translation report is based on the study of the excerpts of quicksand and my analysis of English and Chinese translation practices. The novel is written by Nella Larsen, a black American woman writer. Quicksand is an autobiographical novel. The novel explores the distortion and distortion of American black women by the mainstream American white culture. In this translation project, the author extracts five chapters (chapters 3 to 7) from the original text for English-Chinese translation. The excerpt tells the heroine's journey from Naxas to Chicago to New York in search of a sense of belonging. This part vividly reproduces a large number of psychological activities and natural scenes, and the language is quite creative and complex. This report is divided into four parts: text analysis, translation process review, translation difficulties and solutions, and some suggestions on the translation of black women's novels in the United States. The analysis focuses on translation problems, including syntactic, lexical and rhetorical difficulties, and the corresponding solutions. The author hopes that the translation report can provide some reference for better understanding and translation of black women's novels in the United States.
