《红楼梦》谜语及谶性谜语维译研究

【摘要】：《红楼梦》是中国古典小说的经典之作,小说在描写当时的政治、经济、文化的同时,也花费大量笔墨描写贵族家庭的游戏活动,艺术性极高。文中有多处描写制谜与猜谜的活动与场景,反映了中国古代上层社会贵族家庭的日常娱乐生活和社会风俗。书中共有27则谜语,主要有物谜、灯谜、怀古诗谜、字谜,在文中有着举足轻重的地位。“谶语”是一种具有预言意味的话语,作为我国古典小说常用的一种写作手法,被曹雪芹以谜语的形式引入到小说中,“谶语”所包含的大量信息对译者来说也是一种挑战,能否成功地翻译《红楼梦》中谜语的文化信息,对维吾尔族和汉族的文化交流有促进作用。本文主要分为四部分,第一部分介绍了《红楼梦》中的谜语,从形式上对小说中的谜语进行了分类,主要分为物谜、灯谜、怀古诗谜等,从语义的角度,将小说中的谜语分为谶性谜语与非谶性谜语。由于小说中的谶性谜语与小说情节发展紧密相关,本文还探讨了谶性谜语的功能,主要有信息功能、双境功能、隐喻功能和美学功能。第二部分主要讨论谜语的翻译方法与特质,译者在翻译时综合运用多种方法,《红楼梦》中的谜语主要以诗歌为主,具有一定的特殊性,因此在翻译时应遵循底面扣合、形式工整、音韵和谐、语义等值的特质。第三部分分析了谶性谜语的功能和翻译方法。《红楼梦》中的谶性谜语以诗为载体表达谶语,具有押韵、形式工整、音韵和谐等特点,用谜语来隐喻小说中人物形象的命运与结局,诗谜还具有诗谶化、隐喻化等特点。在翻译谶性谜语时译者主要用了直译法、意译法、增词法、减词法等。文化意象作为一种文化符号具有一定的特殊性,在不同民族的文学作品中常常使用文化意象来托物言志,谜语中特有的文化意象翻译也值得我们关注,第四部分讨论谜语中出现的文化意象,主要有宗教、物质、生物、历史典故文化意象等,维译本中对不同文化意象的处理也值得我们关注,主要有保留、替换、削减和舍弃文化意象等方法。
[Abstract]:"A Dream of Red Mansions" is a classic of Chinese classical novels. While describing the politics, economy and culture of the time, the novel also spends a lot of pen and ink describing the game activities of the aristocratic family. There are many activities and scenes describing riddles and puzzles, reflecting the daily entertainment life and social customs of the upper social aristocratic families in ancient China. There are 27 riddles in the book, mainly material riddles, lantern riddles, and ancient poetry riddles. Enigma plays an important role in the text. Prophecy is a kind of discourse with prophecy, as a writing technique commonly used in Chinese classical novels. Introduced into the novel by Cao Xueqin in the form of riddles, the "prophecy" contains a great deal of information which is also a challenge to the translator, whether or not he can successfully translate the cultural information of the riddles in "A Dream of Red Mansions". This paper is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the riddles in A Dream of Red Mansions, classifies the riddles in the novel in form, mainly divided into material riddles, lantern riddles. From the semantic point of view, the riddles are divided into prophecy riddles and non-prophecy riddles. Since the prophecy riddles in the novel are closely related to the development of the plot of the novel, this paper also discusses the functions of prophecy riddles, which mainly have information functions. The second part mainly discusses the translation methods and characteristics of riddles. The translator uses a variety of methods in translation. The riddles in A Dream of Red Mansions are mainly poetic and have some particularities. The third part analyzes the functions and translation methods of prophecy riddles. The prophecy riddles in A Dream of Red Mansions express prophecy with poetry as carrier and rhyme. In the translation of prophecy riddles, the translator mainly uses literal translation, free translation and lexical addition, while poetry riddles are characterized by poetic prophecy and metaphorization. As a kind of cultural symbol, cultural image has its own particularity. It is often used in the literary works of different nationalities to support the expression of its purpose. The special translation of cultural image in riddles is also worthy of our attention. Part 4th discusses the cultural images in riddles, such as religion, matter, biology, historical allusions, cultural images, etc. The treatment of different cultural images in the Uygur translation is also worthy of our attention, there are mainly reservations, replacements, etc. Methods of reducing and abandoning cultural imagery.
