【摘要】：本翻译报告原文选自美国作家丹尼尔·列维京(Daniel J.Levitin)所著《有条不紊的头脑:在信息超载时代清晰思考》(The Organized Mind:Thinking Straight in the Age of Information Overload)一书的第一部分。丹尼尔·列维京根据分类学、神经科学、认知心理学等相关理论,通过浅显易懂的案例向广大读者阐释大脑如何有条不紊地处理信息,有助于人们在信息超载时代做出明智的决定。原文本为科普文本,根据纽马克的文本类型理论,该翻译材料属于信息型文本。笔者以交际翻译理论为指导,在翻译过程中采用词性转换法、词义选择法、语态转换法、视角转移法等不同的翻译技巧来解决词汇、句子、语篇层面所遇到的翻译问题,以期译文符合目的语读者的理解方式,实现交际翻译的目的。本翻译报告共分为六个部分。第一部分是翻译项目概述,包括项目背景、项目文本类型简介、项目目的和意义以及报告结构;第二部分主要介绍译前的一些准备工作,包括翻译文本的确定、翻译辅助工具的准备、翻译策略的选择、翻译计划的制定、专业术语表的制定、专有名词表的制定以及应急预案的制订;第三部分是翻译过程简介,包括译文语言的选择和具体翻译的执行情况;第四部分介绍译后的相关事项,包括审校人员的确定和审校操作步骤与方法;第五部分是案例分析,在纽马克文本类型理论的指导下,采用不同的翻译技巧解决词汇、句法和语篇三个层面所遇到的翻译问题;第六部分是总结,概括了本次翻译实践的经验与教训,指出了仍待解决的问题。
[Abstract]:This translation is based on the first part of the book the Organized Mind:Thinking Straight in the Age Age of overloading by Daniel J. Levitin. by Daniel J. Levitin. according to taxonomy, the Organized Mind:Thinking Straight in the age of information overload. Related theories such as neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and so on, explain to readers how the brain processes information methodically through simple and understandable cases, which will help people make wise decisions in the age of information overload. The original text is a popular science text. According to Newmark's text type theory, the translation material belongs to informational text. Under the guidance of communicative translation theory, the author adopts the part-of-speech conversion method, word meaning selection method and voice transformation method in the process of translation. Different translation techniques, such as perspective shift method, are used to solve the translation problems at the lexical, sentence and discourse levels, in order to ensure that the translation is in line with the target language readers' understanding. This translation report is divided into six parts. The first part is an overview of the translation project, including the background of the project, the text type of the project, the purpose and significance of the project and the structure of the report. The second part mainly introduces some preparatory work before translation, including the determination of translation texts, the preparation of translation aids, the selection of translation strategies, the formulation of translation plans, and the formulation of professional glossary. The third part is the brief introduction of the translation process, including the choice of the translation language and the implementation of the specific translation. Part 4th introduces the relevant issues after translation. It includes the determination of revisers and the steps and methods of revisers, the 5th part is case analysis, under the guidance of Newmark's text typology theory, different translation techniques are adopted to solve the translation problems encountered at three levels: vocabulary, syntax and text. Part 6th is a summary, which summarizes the experience and lessons of this translation practice, and points out the problems still to be solved.
