论《三体》英译版“文革”叙事的重构

【摘要】:《三体》凭借英译版在雨果奖获奖后,许多人欣喜于中国科幻文学向世界迈出重要一步的同时,也关注到《三体》第一部英文版的翻译。目前虽然对《三体》译文的研究中都提到了对“文革”特殊时期术语和文化的解释,但是均没有对它进行叙事建构与重构的整体性分析,有所缺憾。本文的创新之处在于对《三体》译文中的“文革”叙事重构进行了全面且专注的分析。本文将从叙事视角进行译本分析。从叙事视角进行分析与学术研究的优势,能够在一定程度上弥补现存理论模式(“规范理论”与“归化与异化”)的不足。本文将从叙事重构的时空建构,文本素材的选择性采用,标示式建构和人物事件的再定位策略方面分析《三体I》英译本的重构方式。通过本文研究显示,译文与原文之间在“文革”叙事上有着明显的差异。译者在译文中对“文革”叙事的历史时空进行了真实性建构、并进一步明晰了“文革”的性质。与原文相比较,译文对“文革”冲突中的个人叙事进行了强化,有效地突出了知识分子的个人经历和群体经历。译者通过自身的主动定位,将自己置于一个客观的翻译角色中,没有强调自己的华裔身份,为译文得到更为客观地看待提供了良好的基础。译文通过叙事重构,从文学的角度为文化大革命这个历史概念提供了一个可供参考的版本,为中国文化与中国文学走出去提供了一个新的思路。
[Abstract]:After winning the Hugo Prize, many people are delighted that Chinese science fiction has taken an important step forward in the world. Attention has also been paid to the translation of the first English version of "three bodies". Although the current study of the translation of "three bodies" refers to the interpretation of terms and cultures in the special period of the Cultural Revolution, However, there is no overall analysis of its narrative construction and reconstruction. The innovation of this paper lies in the comprehensive and dedicated analysis of the narrative reconstruction of the Cultural Revolution in the translation of "three body". This paper will analyze the translation from the perspective of narrative, the advantages of analysis and academic research from the perspective of narrative. To some extent, it can make up for the deficiency of the existing theoretical models ("normative theory" and "domestication and alienation"). This paper analyzes the reconstruction of the English translation of "Three-body I" from the aspects of the marked construction and the repositioning strategy of character events. There are obvious differences between the translation and the original text in the narration of the Cultural Revolution. In the translation, the translator constructs the historical space and time of the narrative of the Cultural Revolution, and further clarifies the nature of the Cultural Revolution. The translation strengthens the personal narration in the conflict of the Cultural Revolution and effectively highlights the intellectual's personal and collective experiences. The translator puts himself in an objective translation role through his own initiative. The failure to emphasize one's Chinese identity provides a good basis for the translation to be viewed more objectively. Through narrative reconstruction, the translation provides a reference version for the historical concept of the Cultural Revolution from the literary point of view. It provides a new way of thinking for Chinese culture and Chinese literature.
