【摘要】：《牡丹亭》法译本于1998年在法国交错音出版社(édition Musica Falsa)出版,由法国汉学家雷威安(André Lévy)翻译而成。作为目前为止唯一的法译本,这部《牡丹亭》主要是为了配合1999年巴黎秋季艺术节(Festival d’Automne à Paris)上由美籍华人陈士争导演的《牡丹亭》而作。雷威安是当今法国研究中国古典文学的著名学者和翻译家。作为研究中国17世纪文学的专家,其著译甚丰,主要专著有《十六、十七世纪中国白话小说》《中国古典文学概览》等,译作包括《金瓶梅词话》《西游记》《聊斋志异》《牡丹亭》等。本篇序言写于《牡丹亭》法译本1998年第一次出版之际,原文见André Lévy,préface à Tang Xianzu,Pavillon aux pivoines,trad.du chinois par André Lévy,Paris,Musica Falsa éditions,1999,p.23。译者在序言中用简洁易懂的语言,以中西比较的视角,向法语读者介绍了汤显祖这位中国明代重要的戏曲大师其人其作,将汤显祖所处时代的政治、军事、思想文化背景娓娓道来,同时还从文学史的角度,将《牡丹亭》置于整个中国戏曲发展中考察。
[Abstract]:The French version of Peony Pavilion was published in 1998 at the French dition Musica Falsa and translated by the French sinologist Andr 茅 L 茅 vy. As the only French translation so far, this "Peony Pavilion" is mainly designed to coincide with the "Peony Pavilion" at the Paris Autumn Festival d'Automne 脿 Paris, which was directed by the Chinese-American Chen Shizheng. Levien is a famous scholar and translator of Chinese classical literature in France. As an expert in the study of Chinese literature in the 17th century, his works have been extensively translated, and their main monographs are "Chinese vernacular novels in the 16th Century", "Overview of Chinese Classical Literature", and so on. The translated works include Jin Ping Mei ci ci Story, Journey to the West, Liaozhai Zhi Yi, Peony Pavilion, etc. This preface was written at the time of the first publication of the French translation of Peony Pavilion in 1998. In the preface, the translator introduces Tang Xianzu, an important Chinese opera master in the Ming Dynasty, to the French-speaking readers in a concise and comprehensible language, from the perspective of comparison between China and the West, and introduces Tang Xianzu to the political and military aspects of his time. At the same time, from the perspective of literary history, Peony Pavilion is put into the whole development of Chinese opera.
