基于语料库的《红楼梦》判词英译研究

【摘要】：《红楼梦》判词是这部小说中的精华,给这幅世态人情长卷《红楼梦》增加了无限色彩。判词的语言简练,内涵丰富,是翻译中的难点。基于语料库的研究方法和统计,试图从类符、形符、类符/形符比(TTR)、高频词和独特词来考察杨宪益和霍克斯在词汇层面翻译时的特征。分析杨译和霍译在判词翻译时选择不同人称视角来指代主人公的优劣,并选择三个判词翻译实例来解释二者表现出的翻译风格。
[Abstract]:A Dream of Red Mansions is the essence of this novel. The language of the judgment is concise and rich in connotation, and it is a difficult point in translation. Based on corpus-based research methods and statistics, this paper attempts to investigate the lexical features of Yang Xianyi and Hawks in lexical translation from the following aspects: class character, form character, class character / character ratio, high frequency word and unique word. This paper analyzes the translation of Yang and Huo by choosing different personal perspectives to refer to the protagonists' merits and demerits, and chooses three examples to explain their translation styles.
