【摘要】：本文是一篇翻译项目实践报告。翻译材料为美国著名作家莎朗·萨拉(Sharon Sala)所著小说《当你呼唤我的名字》中节选的两个章节:第五章和第六章。此部分内容主要讲述了女主人公料理父亲和哥哥的后事并在重建家园时在脑海中看到一起谋杀事件。这两章内容是推动故事情节向高潮过渡以及主人公情感发展的关键。文章中人物刻画细腻,情节流畅,包含大量的心理、对话和动作描写,句式多变,含义丰富。译者期望通过此次翻译项目实践,加深对小说特点及情感的体会,提升翻译水平,培养刻苦钻研的精神。小说的翻译需要把握人物、情节、背景等要素。一方面,原文中包含大量的心理、对话和动作描写,需要笔者在翻译时揣摩不同人物性格,结合语境。另一方面,文章句式多变,含义丰富,要求译者语法基础扎实,用词得体、准确。基于文章语言特点,笔者以弗米尔(Hans Vermeer)的目的论为指导,以原文为基础,有目的地译出忠实、连贯、符合文章风格的译文。文章结合了多种翻译策略,如增译法,转换法等,解决文章中翻译重难点。此次项目翻译充分表明,翻译实践离不开理论的指导,而目的论对于翻译实践的指导意义重大。在目的论的指导下,译者可以采取不同的翻译策略和方法翻译出符合要求的译文。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation project practice report. The translated materials are two excerpts from Sharon Sala, a famous American writer, when you call my name: chapter five and chapter six. This part mainly tells the heroine to take care of her father and brother and to see a murder in her mind while rebuilding her home. These two chapters are the key to promote the transition from storyline to climax and the emotional development of the protagonist. The characters in the article are characterized by exquisite description, smooth plot, lots of psychological, dialogue and action description, changeable sentence patterns and rich meanings. The translator hopes to deepen his understanding of the characteristics and emotions of the novel, improve the translation level and cultivate the spirit of hard work through this translation project. The translation of novels needs to grasp the characters, plot, background and other elements. On the one hand, the original text contains a lot of psychological, dialogue and action description, which requires the author to interpret the different characters and combine the context with the translation. On the other hand, the grammatical basis of the translator is solid, the words are appropriate and accurate. Based on the linguistic characteristics of the article, the author, guided by Hans Vermeer's Skopos theory and based on the original text, purposefully translated a faithful, coherent and text-style translation. This paper combines a variety of translation strategies, such as incremental translation, conversion, and so on, to solve the translation difficulties. The project translation fully shows that translation practice can not be separated from the guidance of theory, and Skopos theory is of great significance to translation practice. Under the guidance of Skopos theory, translators can adopt different translation strategies and methods to achieve the required translation.
