《现代》杂志翻译作品背后的商业化倾向研究

【摘要】: 对于现代翻译文学的研究而言,期刊研究有着举足轻重的意义。许多卓有成绩的研究表明,在中国现代文学的现代性构成中,期刊起着至关重要的作用。由于有相当数量的作品最早都是刊登于各种期刊杂志,在某种程度上,可以说期刊是翻译文学重要的原生地。目前已经有越来越多的研究者重视对翻译文学的研究,也已经出现了不少重要的研究成果。然而,这些研究考察的对象大部分还集中在单本或结集出版的译作方面,对特定某个期刊翻译作品的研究则相对不足。事实上,从期刊入手考察,更有助于我们从更广泛的层面研究翻译文学,而不是将文学翻译活动简单地视作不同语符之间的转换。 《现代》杂志是中国现代文学史中最重要的杂志之一,创立于1932年,由施蛰存主编。它以开放的姿态与海纳百川的文化气质,成为30年代初最能反应当时文艺状况的大型文学刊物。对中国现代文学的繁荣,提供了广阔的视野,打开了中国文学与世界文学相连的窗口,并培养了中国的现代派文学,对中国文学走向现代化做出了卓越的贡献。 对《现代》杂志的研究自80年代以来得到了很大的重视,也取得了卓越的成绩。本文在前人研究的基础上,试图从新的角度阐释《现代》杂志。本文通过结合《现代》杂志的文本和它植根的社会文化背景层面,研究《现代》杂志的翻译作品在选题、翻译过程、以及翻译作品传播过程中所隐含的商业化倾向等。 本论文由五章组成: 第一章论述了《现代》杂志的国内研究现状、本文选题的意义,问题假设及研究方法,以及学术创新等问题。 第二章围绕《现代》杂志植根的社会文化环境和该杂志办刊的商业目的进行研究。主要从30年代上海的政治、经济、商业、文化背景等方面进行分析,来考察该杂志得以滋生的环境。通过对该杂志产生背景的分析,来剖析该杂志背后的赞助力量—现代书局的商业动机。 第三章探讨了《现代》杂志翻译作品商业化倾向的具体体现。分析了《现代》杂志翻译作品在选题时的商业化倾向和文学作品在翻译过程中所使用的翻译策略。 第四章主要分析了翻译作品在《现代》杂志发行中的商业化传播策略。通过对《现代》杂志文学译介的广告宣传策略的分析,揭露《现代》杂志翻译文学作品的商业化传播手段。 结尾部分主要是对本文《现代》杂志研究现状的总结和作者对本文写作的反思。
[Abstract]:Periodical study is of great significance to the study of modern translation literature. Many outstanding researches show that periodicals play an important role in the modern constitution of Chinese modern literature. Since a considerable number of works were first published in various periodicals, to some extent, periodicals are the important source of translation literature. At present, more and more researchers have attached importance to the study of translation literature, and a lot of important research results have emerged. However, most of these studies focus on the translation published in a single book or a collection, while the research on the translation works of a particular periodical is relatively inadequate. As a matter of fact, starting with periodicals will help us to study translation literature on a wider scale. "Modern" is one of the most important magazines in the history of modern Chinese literature, which was founded in 1932 and edited by Shi Zhecun. With an open attitude and the cultural temperament of all rivers, it became a large literary publication in the early 1930s, which could best reflect the literature and art situation at that time. It provides a broad view for the prosperity of Chinese modern literature, opens the window of connection between Chinese literature and world literature, trains Chinese modernist literature, and makes outstanding contributions to the modernization of Chinese literature. The research of Modern magazine has been paid great attention to since 1980's, and has also made outstanding achievements. On the basis of previous studies, this paper attempts to interpret Modern magazine from a new perspective. Based on the text of Modern magazine and its social and cultural background, this paper studies the topic selection, translation process and commercial tendency of translation works in the process of translation. This paper consists of five chapters: the first chapter discusses the domestic research status of Modern magazine, the significance of this topic, the hypothesis and research methods, as well as academic innovation and other issues. The second chapter focuses on the social and cultural environment in which the magazine is rooted and the commercial purpose of its publication. This paper mainly analyzes the political, economic, commercial and cultural backgrounds of Shanghai in the 1930s to examine the environment in which the magazine was born. By analyzing the background of the magazine, this paper analyzes the business motive of the modern bookshop, which is the sponsor behind the magazine. Chapter three discusses the commercialization tendency of the translated works of Modern magazine. This paper analyzes the commercial tendency of the translation works of Modern magazine and the translation strategies used in the translation of literary works. Chapter four mainly analyzes the commercial communication strategy of translated works in the publication of Modern Magazine. Through the analysis of the advertising strategy of the translation and introduction of the magazine literature, this paper reveals the commercial means of communication of the literary works translated by the magazine. The last part is a summary of the present situation of the study of Modern magazine and the author's reflection on the writing of this paper.
