二十世纪五六十年代美学大讨论的意义

【摘要】:20世纪五六十年代发生的那场美学大讨论,是新中国美学的开篇之作,也堪称为是当代美学研究的起点。这场美学争鸣不仅促进我国美学研究的发展,使美学成为一门炙手可热的显学,而且也使我国美学与世界美学的联系更加密切,在大讨论期间,学者们译介了许多西方著名的美学理论著作。在学术形态和审美观念方面,这场大讨论无疑对整个当代美学起到铸型的作用,它不仅为当代中国美学提供了基本的话题,基本的理论格局,还规定了美学最基本学术型态。客观的来说这次发生的美学大讨论大讨论继承了20世纪前期的美学研究成果。它引起了全社会对美学问题的关注,在知识界掀起了一股美学研究的热潮,使众多的文学理论家和美学研究者投身于这股洪流中,这无疑是一场十分隆重的美学知识大普及运动。本文试图从学术史的角度出发,通过对参加五六十年代美学大讨论的各位美学学者所发表的文章的仔细地研读,立足于整个二十世纪中国美学发展的历史与现状,从三个方面着手分析五六十年代美学大讨论的意义。第一章主要是从美学大讨论兴起的时代背景、美学自身的历史渊源、美学大讨论得以发生的根本原因入手,对美学大讨论的性质进行定位。第二章则重点论述美学大讨论的内容,主要从美本质、自然美、美学的研究对象三个方面着手对美学大讨论进行宏观的描述。第三章则从认识论研究范式的确立,哲学美学,马克思主义美学在当代中国的确立以及美学研究队伍的壮大等方面去探究美学大讨论的价值与局限。五六十年代的美学大讨论相较于同时期展开的其他各种批判运动而言的确是有学术讨论意味的,并且这场美学争鸣是那个时代唯一一场政治教条干预较少、参加讨论的学者能在最大程度上本着学术争鸣的原则从学理上展开争论的一场学术讨论,从这个角度而言,这场美学大讨论对新中国文化学术的贡献就已经远远超出了美学范畴,无疑成为当代学术史上亮丽的一笔。因此,五六十年代的美学大讨论对当代美学建设无疑起到了重要的引导作用,它使美学研究不断地呈现出科学化、学理化的趋向。
[Abstract]:The aesthetic discussion that took place in the 1950s and 1960s was the beginning of the new Chinese aesthetics and the starting point of the contemporary aesthetic research. This aesthetic controversy not only promotes the development of aesthetic research in China and makes aesthetics a hot and prominent subject, but also makes our aesthetics more closely related to the world aesthetics, and during the period of great discussion, Scholars have translated and introduced many famous western aesthetic theories. In the aspect of academic form and aesthetic concept, this great discussion undoubtedly plays the role of mould for the whole contemporary aesthetics. It not only provides the basic topic, the basic theoretical pattern for the contemporary Chinese aesthetics, but also stipulates the most basic academic style of the aesthetics. Objectively speaking, this aesthetic discussion inherits the early 20 th century aesthetic research results. It aroused the attention of the whole society to the esthetics problem, and raised a wave of esthetics research upsurge in the intellectual world, which made many literary theorists and esthetics researchers throw themselves into this torrent. This is undoubtedly a grand aesthetic knowledge popularization movement. From the perspective of academic history, this paper attempts to study carefully the articles published by the various aesthetics scholars who participated in the great discussion of aesthetics in the 1950s and 1960s, so as to base themselves on the history and present situation of the development of Chinese aesthetics throughout the 20th century. The significance of aesthetic discussion in the 1950s and 1960s was analyzed from three aspects. The first chapter mainly starts with the background of the rise of aesthetic discussion, the historical origin of aesthetics itself, and the fundamental causes of aesthetic discussion, and defines the nature of aesthetic discussion. The second chapter focuses on the content of aesthetic discussion, mainly from the essence of beauty, natural beauty, aesthetic research object of three aspects of aesthetic discussion of macro description. The third chapter explores the value and limitation of aesthetic discussion from the establishment of epistemological research paradigm, the establishment of philosophical aesthetics, Marxist aesthetics in contemporary China and the expansion of aesthetic research team. The aesthetic debate of the fifties and sixties was indeed academic in comparison with the other critical movements that began at the same time, and this aesthetic dispute was the only political dogmatic intervention of that time. An academic discussion in which the scholars participating in the discussion can, to the greatest extent possible, engage in an academic debate based on the principle of academic contention. From this point of view, The contribution of this great aesthetic discussion to the study of new Chinese culture has gone far beyond the scope of aesthetics and has undoubtedly become a brilliant stroke in the contemporary academic history. Therefore, the great discussion of aesthetics in the 1950s and 1960s has undoubtedly played an important role in guiding the construction of contemporary aesthetics.
