汉英俗语翻译策略探究-《红蝗》（节选）翻译实践报告

【摘要】：在经济全球化和文化多元化的背景下,各个国家和地区之间的跨文化交流不断加深,翻译在这一过程中起着举足轻重的作用。文学翻译是文化交流的一条重要途径,地方性小说作为地方性文化代表,其翻译显得尤为重要。目前,汉语小说的英译工作比较滞后,作为山东优秀的地方性小说代表之作,《红蝗》非常有其翻译必要。本翻译实践报告共分为五部分,第一部分引言部分,介绍了此次翻译实践的背景、意义和结构。第二部分为任务描述部分,包括对原文主要内容、作者及翻译目的的介绍。第三部分为翻译任务过程部分,包括译前的准备工作及翻译过程。第四部分为案例分析部分,以“功能对等”理论为指导,对俗语和粗俗语的翻译策略加以探讨,对于含有大量文化信息的俗语,可采取“异化为主归化为辅”的策略,适当使用直译、意译、直译加注、增译等。第五部分为总结部分,指出文学翻译中译员的职业素养以及报告中存在的问题和不足,以期今后有进一步的发展。
[Abstract]:Under the background of economic globalization and cultural pluralism, cross-cultural communication between different countries and regions is deepening. Translation plays an important role in this process. Literary translation is an important way of cultural exchange. As a representative of local culture, the translation of local novels is particularly important. At present, the translation of Chinese novels into English is lagging behind. As an outstanding representative of local novels in Shandong Province, it is necessary to translate Red Locust. This report is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the background, significance and structure of the translation practice. The second part is the task description, including the main content of the original text, the author and the purpose of translation. The third part is the part of translation task process, including pre-translation preparation and translation process. The fourth part is the case analysis part. Under the guidance of the theory of functional equivalence, the translation strategies of vulgar and vulgar words are discussed. The strategy of "foreignization is the main method of domestication" can be adopted for the vulgar words which contain a large amount of cultural information. Appropriate use of literal translation, free translation, literal annotation, translation, etc. In the fifth part, the author points out the professional qualities of translators in literary translation and the problems and shortcomings in the report, with a view to further development in the future.
