美国当代小说《岁月悠悠》（节选）英译汉翻译研究报告

　　近年来美国当代小说日益受到关注,国内外对小说翻译的理论研究趋于成熟,纽马克的“语义翻译与交际翻译”理论也在许多翻译中得到更多的应用和体现。在论文中,笔者选用了美国当代小说Long Way Gone（作者Charles Martin）的开头部分作为翻译对象。在翻译的过程中,如何将语义翻译与交际翻译结合使用,是笔者着重考虑的翻译策略问题。纽马克主张针对不同的文体采用不同的翻译手段,语义翻译侧重于把原作者在原文中要表达的意思准确地再现出来,而交际翻译则根植于目标语文化,更注重目标语的表达方式和读者感受。纽马克的这些理论及方法对本次翻译实践具有指导意义,主要体现在笔者所选用的词、句、段三方面的例证中。翻译过程中,笔者采用了语义翻译和交际翻译相结合的翻译策略与方法,并着重考查词汇及句子深层含义,从而完成译文。在对翻译过程的分析总结中,笔者注意到:（1）事先对全文的语言风格以及对文化背景知识进行透彻的了解,为完成翻译任务提供了十分重要的前提条件;（2）交际翻译与语义翻译相结合,有助于创作出高质量的翻译作品。在本项翻译实践中,笔者将纽马克的“语义翻译与交际翻译”理论应用到具体的文本中。一方面能够探索...
