《男性乌托邦-摧毁硅谷男性俱乐部》（第七、八章）翻译报告

　　本文是一篇翻译报告,翻译的原文是美国作家艾米莉·张（Emily Chang）所作的《男性乌托邦——摧毁硅谷男性俱乐部》（Brotopia:Breaking Up the Boys’Club of Silicon Valley）。该书出版于2018年2月,根据译者的调查,目前我国国内尚无译文发表。原文以硅谷为例,揭露了女性在高科技行业中的真实处境,受到了《纽约时报》、《金融时报》等杂志的大力推崇,在社会上引起了较大反响。本报告选择的原文是该书的第七、八两章。第七章讲述了科技行业的工作人员难以平衡家庭和生活;第八章描述了女性是网络暴力的主要对象,而科技公司和这一现象有着紧密联系。中英文在代词的使用上有一定差异。英语中频繁使用代词,特别是指示代词。在原文中,同一个代词甚至在一句话中出现了三次。但中文却用得较少,代词太多容易造成语义不清。这是翻译的难点之一。此外,原文有两个章节,这两个章节分别包括5到7个部分,且每部分都有自己的标题。如果直接将这些副标题翻译成中文,原文意思不能清晰地表达出来。这也是翻译的难点。对于以上翻译难点,译者采用了蒙娜·贝克（Mona Baker）的显化共性理论。贝克教...
