【摘要】：本翻译项目原文是江苏省作家协会主席范小青所著的文学类短篇小说《梦幻快递》,全文共9875字,发表于《北京文学》2013年第5期。该文是对“快”的呈现,追求“快速”已经成为现代人的存在方式,人们被这样的节奏束缚着、压抑着,却又无法自拔,由于对此有深切的认识,作者在文中借“快递”的视角表达了她对人类这一矛盾状态的担忧和疑虑。本翻译报告既是对《梦幻快递》这篇小说的英译总结,也是对在翻译过程中实现“化境”这一尝试的过程分析。本文从不同的层面对《梦幻快递》英译进行剖析。从词性及句型的转换、语气词的灵活处理、俗语及成语的翻译等方面着手分析如何在汉译英过程中去实现“化境”,以及如何用“化境”的翻译策略来指导翻译实践。最后也总结了在翻译的过程中遇到的问题以及收获,同时也列出了文学翻译中有待提高及解决的问题。
