【摘要】：查尔斯兰姆的平易散文是英国文学史，乃至世界文学史上的一块瑰宝。兰姆在散文上的造诣极高，直至今日，《伊利亚随笔》和《伊利亚随笔续编》仍不绝于版。兰姆生活的时期，英国正经历着历史上从未有过的深刻变革。本论文通过细读文本，结合社会历史资料，旨在挖掘社会历史背景与兰姆文学成就之间的关联。同时，也试图阐释兰姆对当时的重大事件和社会氛围所采取的立场和态度。具体而言，本文旨在解决三个问题。一是社会背景如何孕育了平易文体。十八世纪后期，英国人口激增，工业发展，社会需要更多的劳动者，于是政府开始教育重组，这大大提高了广大民众的读写能力，文学也开始商品化。文人开始不再依赖于资助人，而是独立写稿投稿，赚取稿费。文学杂志繁荣发展。文学的商品化改变了作者与读者间的关系，读者身份的多样性也决定了文体风格必然发生变化。这些因素催生了平易文体，为兰姆散文学才华的施展提供了肥沃的土壤。二是社会现实对兰姆散文的主题选择产生的影响以及兰姆对社会变革的观点和态度。贫富差距加大，社会动荡，英国国内激进主义盛行，而兰姆那些看似无关政治的散文主题恰恰回应了当时的种种社会问题，同时表达了兰姆期望通过加强社会各阶层间的了解来化解社会矛盾，避免正面冲突和激进革命的立场。三是兰姆平易散文创造性地将草根内容和精英写法结合在一起。平实的措辞与圣经、神话典故以及文学经典引语并存；多变的节奏大大增强了文章的表现力，，增加了文章的可读性。这些美学特点体现了兰姆深厚的文学功底、良好的文学素养以及高超的散文技巧。同时，用精英写法表现草根内容，这种形式和内容的调和，也体现了兰姆寄希望于软化社会矛盾，避免正面冲突，通过增进各阶层之间的了解来解决社会问题的立场。
[Abstract]:Charles Lamb's prose is a treasure in the history of English literature and even in the history of world literature. "Elijah essay" and "Elijah essay continuation" are still in the edition. During the period of Lamb's life, Britain is undergoing profound changes that have never been experienced in history. This paper combines social and historical materials through careful reading of the text. The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between the social and historical background and the literary achievements of Lamb. At the same time, it also attempts to explain the stance and attitude taken by Lamb on the important events and social atmosphere of the time. Specifically, this paper aims to solve three problems. The first is how the social background gave birth to the style of change. In 18th century, the population of Britain soared, industrial development, the society needs more workers. As a result, the government began to reorganize education, which greatly improved the reading and writing ability of the general public, and the literature began to be commercialized. The flourishing development of literary magazines, the commercialization of literature changed the relationship between the author and the readers, and the diversity of readers' identity determined that the stylistic style must change. These factors gave birth to the ordinary style. The second is the influence of social reality on the theme selection of Ram's prose and his views and attitudes to social change, the widening gap between the rich and the poor and the social unrest. Radicalism prevails in Britain, and Lamb's seemingly politically irrelevant prose themes respond to the social problems of the time. At the same time, it expresses Ram's expectation to resolve the social contradiction by strengthening the understanding among different social strata. The third is the creative combination of grassroots content and elite writing. Plain wording coexists with biblical, mythical and literary quotations; The changeable rhythm greatly enhances the expressive power of the article and increases the readability of the article. These aesthetic characteristics embody Lamb's deep literary background, good literary accomplishment and superb prose skills. At the same time. The harmony of the form and content reflects Lamb's position that he hopes to soften the social contradiction, avoid the positive conflict, and solve the social problems by enhancing the understanding between the different strata.
