【摘要】：伯纳德·马拉默德是美国战后杰出的犹太作家。他的第二部小说《店员》自1957年首次出版以来深受欢迎,为他赢得了各种奖项奖。该书因对犹太人忍耐精神的生动描写及其高超的语言艺术广受好评。批评家们普遍专注于小说中犹太人物角色的挣扎和受难精神,鲜有分析主人公弗兰克的成长。本文运用成长小说理论从爱,犹太性和道德三个方面阐释弗兰克的成长。本文由引言、结论以及四个章节的主体构成。引言部分综述作者所取得的文学成就,简要介绍国内外学者对该小说的研究并论述本论文的基本观点和主要结构。第一章介绍成长小说的理论并分析小说中的成长主题。第二章讨论弗兰克在爱的方面的成长。他经历了从缺爱到获得爱这个过程并最终奉献自己的爱。第三章描写弗兰克对犹太性认识方面的日渐成熟。从最开始鄙视犹太人到最终皈依犹太教,弗兰克从生理和心理方面彻底变成了一个犹太人。第四章叙述弗兰克道德方面的成熟。结论部分强调弗兰克在爱,犹太性和道德三个方面的成长,并指出研究这部成长小说对现实生活的指导意义。
[Abstract]:Bernard Malamud is an outstanding postwar Jewish writer in the United States. His second novel, shop assistant, has been popular since its first publication in 1957. The book is well received for its vivid description of the spirit of Jewish patience and its superb language art. Critics generally focus on the struggle and suffering spirit of Jewish characters in the novel. There is little analysis of Frank's growth. This paper uses the theory of growing up novels to explain Frank's growth from three aspects: love, Judaism and morality. This paper consists of introduction, conclusion and the main body of four chapters. The introduction summarizes the author's literary achievements. This paper briefly introduces the domestic and foreign scholars' research on the novel and discusses the basic viewpoints and main structure of this thesis. Chapter 1 introduces the theory of the growth novel and analyzes the growing up theme in the novel. Chapter 2 discusses Frank's love aspect. He experienced the process from lack of love to the acquisition of love and finally dedicated his love. Chapter three describes Frank's growing maturity in his understanding of Jewish sex. From the beginning he despised Jews to eventually converted to Judaism. Frank became a Jew from the physical and psychological aspects. Chapter 4th describes Frank's moral maturity. The conclusion emphasizes Frank's growth in three aspects: love, Judaism and morality. It also points out the guiding significance of the study of this growth novel to the real life.
