新维多利亚小说《婚姻天使》中的女性灵媒研究

【摘要】：在历史叙述中,女性灵媒群体一直沉没于历史地表之下,拜厄特试图打破历史话语对女性灵媒群体的压制,让她们自由发声。新维多利亚小说《婚姻天使》以维多利亚时代的通灵思潮为写作背景,重构并塑造了全新的女性灵媒形象,展现了女性灵媒的女性意识与创造力量,表达了拜厄特独特的女性观与历史观。本文以女性主义的视角,将《婚姻天使》置于新维多利亚小说背景中,分析新维多利亚小说以一种新的历史叙事对维多利亚时代的书写与重构,探讨新维多利亚小说中“唯灵因素”的出现与运用,继而从女性主义批评的三个基点——女性气质、女性意识、女性写作结合文学文本,对小说中的女性灵媒形象进行细致分析,旨在揭示拜厄特重构女性灵媒形象、写作新维多利亚小说的价值与现实意义。本文首先从女性气质的角度,论述传统女性灵媒群体身上所体现的“权力悖论”,分析《婚姻天使》中的女性灵媒所展现的独特女性气质与女性意识；接着分析小说中的女性灵媒在肉体与灵魂的冲突与融合中对两性关系的思考,并在思考的过程中实现了自我认知；继而从女性写作的角度,分析小说中的女性灵媒如何通过降神会中的“自动书写”找寻到自我价值,“自动书写”如何成为拜厄特创建新的女性写作方式、探索新的小说方式的一种实验,探讨作家与灵媒、招魂与写作之间的关系。论文的最后以新维多利亚小说出现的新的批评视角——德里达的“幽灵批评”,总结出拜厄特创作新维多利亚小说、重构女性灵媒形象的目的,那就是作家化身为灵媒,通过招魂,与维多利亚时代对话,企图从逝去的故人、逝去的时代那里,寻找到能解决当下文化境遇的锦囊,寻找到能给予当代小说创作在内容与形式上的灵感与启示。
[Abstract]:In the historical narration, the female psychic group has always sunk below the historical surface, and Byatt tries to break the suppression of the historical discourse on the female psychic group. The New Victorian novel "Marriage Angel" takes the Victorian trend of thought as the writing background, reconstructs and shapes a new image of female psychic media, and shows the female consciousness and creative power of female psychic media. It expresses Byatt's unique view of women and history. From the perspective of feminism, this paper puts the Angel of Marriage in the context of the New Victorian novel, and analyzes the writing and reconstruction of the Victorian era by a new historical narrative in the New Victorian novel. This paper probes into the emergence and application of the "spiritual factor" in the new Victorian novels, and then makes a careful analysis of the female psychic images in the novel from the three basic points of feminist criticism-female temperament, female consciousness, and female writing combined with literary texts. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the value and practical significance of Byatt's reconstruction of female psychic images and the writing of new Victorian novels. This article first discusses the "power paradox" embodied by the traditional female psychic group from the angle of female temperament, and analyzes the unique feminine temperament and female consciousness displayed by the female psychic in "Marriage Angel". Then it analyzes the female psychic media's thinking on the relationship between the two sexes in the conflict and fusion of body and soul, and realizes self-cognition in the process of thinking, and then from the perspective of female writing, This paper analyzes how female psychic media in novels find their own value through "automatic writing" in the hysteria, and how "automatic writing" becomes an experiment for Byatt to create a new way of female writing and to explore new ways of novel writing. This paper discusses the relationship between the writer and the psychic, the soul and the writing. At the end of the thesis, with the new critical perspective of the new Victorian novel, Derrida's "ghost criticism", the author concludes that Byatt created the new Victorian novel. The purpose of reconstructing the image of female psychic is that the writer incarnates as psychic, through evoking and talking with the Victorian era, trying to find a wealth of wealth that can solve the next cultural situation from the deceased and the past.
