[Abstract]:Toni Morrisonn (1931-191-1931), a black African-American writer, won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1993. In 1970, after her debut, the Bluest eyes, she won wide acclaim from readers and the media. It has established her position as an observer of contemporary black American social literature. Nowadays, all nations in the world are very concerned about the inheritance and utilization of their own national culture, and African American blacks are one of them. Their ancestors had historically created rich and splendid black cultures and formed their own national cultural traditions. But under the domination of Western centralism, The black nation and its culture have always been marginalized. Morrison always takes the essence of black cultural tradition as the subject of creation. Her strong sense of race kept her focused on the reality and future of African-American peoples. Morrison concentrated on the cultural traditions of African-American blacks in Song of Solomon. This novel is her masterpiece of caring for the fate of race and spiritual pursuit. It has been paid close attention to and loved by readers and researchers for many years. This paper consists of three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction introduces the position of Toni Morrison in the history of literature, summarizes the research on his works at home and abroad, and points out the achievements and shortcomings of the current research. Narrative techniques, language characteristics, modernism theories, etc., but the essence of the black cultural tradition in the novel has never been excavated and analyzed. This paper attempts to interpret the black cultural tradition in Song of Solomon in the context of multiculturalism. The text is divided into three chapters:. The first chapter mainly discusses the status quo of American multiculturalism, and then analyzes the situation of black culture in the context of American multiculturalism. The second chapter combines the text analysis to analyze the different cultural choices made by the black Americans in the multicultural dialogue from the perspective of the identity of the black asset to the white culture and the rejection of the white culture by the black nationalists. The guides and explorers of black culture discuss the three types of cultural choice. The third chapter is to explain Morrison's cultural position and position her cultural choices. Based on her race and gender, Morrison is able to start from her black and female roles without limiting herself to this. She agrees that African-African Americans can inherit the essence of black culture in the context of multiculturalism, that is, the spirit of collectivism and the idea of the unity of nature and man. The conclusion points out the value of the work. As an African-American writer, Morrison is always thinking about the cultural situation of black Americans, and she has great foresight. Aware of the challenges faced by the new generation of black people in the context of multiculturalism. If the black people want to better integrate into American society and no longer suffer from the torment and obsession of double cultures, they should recognize themselves in order to find their true selves, Deeply understand the essence of the black national culture, and then return to the traditional culture in a multicultural complex society. However, we should not just stick to the black national culture itself, but rather better combine the two. Therefore, a new generation of African-American blacks will face new challenges in the multicultural American society, and will also have greater development at the same time.
