【摘要】：艾米丽·勃朗特是十九世纪英国文坛最为著名的作家之一,其代表作《呼啸山庄》是哥特式小说中的精品。在这部小说中,艾米丽继承了传统哥特小说中关于复仇和争夺继承权的主题,并运用传统哥特艺术手法来突出这两个主题。除继承哥特式小说中的这两个主题外,《呼啸山庄》超越哥特式小说中的永恒主题,即善恶之间的永恒冲突,对人性进行最真实、最自然的探索。除绪论和结论外,本论文分为三章。第一章研究《呼啸山庄》对传统哥特式小说中复仇主题的继承,认为这种继承主要表现在艾米丽对小说主人公希刺克厉夫的刻画之上。希刺克厉夫以其强烈的复仇愿望和残忍暴力的复仇手段对恩萧家族和林顿家族进行疯狂的报复。第二章通过对传统哥特式小说中争夺继承权主题的探讨,揭示艾米莉在描写争夺继承权这一主题上对哥特小说的继承。希刺克厉夫通过设计赌博和婚姻诱骗实现了对呼啸山庄和画眉山庄的成功掠夺。最后一章分析小说对传统哥特式小说中善恶冲突这一永恒主题的超越。论文作者指出,这种超越集中体现于艾米丽对希刺克厉夫和凯瑟琳与哈里顿和小凯瑟琳这两对恋人之永恒结合的描写。通过详细分析《呼啸山庄》对传统哥特式主题的继承和超越,本文作者试图考察传统哥特式小说对艾米丽文学创作的影响,并引起学界和读者对《呼啸山庄》中的哥特式主题给予更多的关注和研究。
[Abstract]:Emily Bronte was one of the most famous British writers in 19th century, and Wuthering Heights, the masterpiece of the Gothic novel, Emily inherited the themes of revenge and contention for inheritance in traditional Gothic novels. Besides inheriting these two themes in Gothic novels, Wuthering Heights transcends the eternal theme of Gothic novels, that is, the eternal conflict between good and evil, which is the most true of human nature. The most natural exploration. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter studies the inheritance of revenge theme in the traditional Gothic novels in Wuthering Heights. This inheritance is mainly reflected in Emily's portrayal of Heathcliff, the protagonist of the novel. Heathcliff has gone mad at the Earnshaw and Linton families with their strong desire for revenge and cruel and violent vengeance. Chapter II explores the theme of contention for inheritance in traditional Gothic novels, Reveals Emily's succession to Gothic novels on the subject of contending for inheritance. Heathcliff succeeded in plundering Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Heights by designing gambling and marriage deceiving. The last chapter analyzes the novel. Transcending the eternal theme of conflict of good and evil in traditional Gothic novels. This transcendence is embodied in Emily's description of Heathcliff and Catherine's eternal union with Hareton and Catherine Jr. Through the detailed analysis of the inheritance and transcendence of the traditional Gothic theme in Wuthering Heights, the author tries to investigate the influence of the traditional Gothic novel on Emily's literary creation. The Gothic theme in Wuthering Heights has been paid more attention and studied by scholars and readers.
