【摘要】：19世纪美国,妇女解放运动、内战的爆发使得美国社会动荡不安,人民的生活与观念等随之发生了巨大的改变。文学创作也相应表现出新的特征：现实主义文学与现代主义文学在这一时期交相发展。亨利·詹姆斯就是这一特殊时期的文学创作巨匠,他的小说《贵妇画像》亦是该社会背景下具有典型意义的文本。现实主义文学注重典型环境中的典型人物的塑造,并遵循创作应忠于生活、体现时代精神的理念。詹姆斯在小说中成功地塑造了妇女解放运动后所诞生的新时代女性的形象,并敏锐地洞察到美国国民对欧洲文化盲目崇拜这一社会问题。现代主义文学则打破传统的文学创作模式,将其关注点转移到世界的不确定性上。这种理念在小说中主要体现在詹姆斯对人物模糊性格的刻画和不确定叙述视角的采用上。詹姆斯又透过伊莎贝尔最终的回归象征性地实现了现实主义与现代主义创作理念的融合。詹姆斯在《贵妇画像》中游刃于现实主义和现代主义创作的空间,显示出他对时代精神的准确把握,对社会问题的敏锐洞察。
[Abstract]:In 19th century, the American women's liberation movement, the outbreak of the Civil War caused social unrest in the United States, People's lives and ideas have changed dramatically, and literary creation has shown new features: realism and modernism intersected during this period. Henry James is this particular. The great writers of literary creation in the period, His novel Portrait of the Lady is also a typical text in this social background. Realistic literature pays attention to the portrayal of the typical characters in the typical environment, and follows the idea that creation should be loyal to life and reflect the spirit of the times. In his novels, James succeeded in shaping the image of women in the new era born after the women's liberation movement. It also has a keen insight into the social problem of the blind worship of European culture by the American people. Modernist literature breaks the traditional literary creation model. This idea is mainly reflected in James' portrayal of the fuzzy character of the characters and the use of uncertain narrative perspective. James' final return through Isabel.
