【摘要】：亨利·詹姆斯(1843-1916)是著名的英美现代小说家和文学评论家。《梅西所知》是一部詹姆斯创作中期的作品。本文将从存在主义的观点讨论主人公梅西是如何从一个天真烂漫的孩子蜕变为一个勇于做出自己的选择,打破各种束缚,独立勇敢面对世界的自由人。本篇论文包括五部分。引言部分介绍了亨利·詹姆斯的生平及作品,《梅西所知》的创作背景,国内外文献综述和该论文的创新点及意义。第一章主要从三个方面探讨了世界的荒谬性：动荡的社会背景,荒谬的人际关系和复杂凌乱的语言应用。本章着重揭示了梅西所处的外部环境,充斥着荒谬,不可知和谎言。第二章分析了梅西对自我存在的陌生化。最初由于父母的离婚造成了她对于自我身份的困惑以及因此引起的恐慌与惧怕。于是她战略性地采取自我封闭,一方面保护自己,另一方面通过自己的观察努力认识成人世界。第三章探讨了梅西开始学会发出自己的声音,以表明自己的态度观点,最终学会了控制自己的生活,独立面对生活,成为一个自由决定自己生活,勇敢承担责任,拥有绝对自由的存在主义式的战士
[Abstract]:Henry James (1843-1916) is a famous British and American modern novelist and literary critic.From the existentialism point of view, this paper will discuss how the protagonist Messi has changed from an innocent child to a free man who has the courage to make his own choices, break all kinds of restraints and face the world bravely and independently.This paper includes five parts.The introduction introduces the life and works of Henry James, the background of Macy's works, the literature review at home and abroad, and the innovation and significance of this paper.The first chapter mainly discusses the absurdity of the world from three aspects: the turbulent social background, the absurd interpersonal relationship and the complicated and messy language application.This chapter focuses on the external environment of Messi, filled with absurdity, unknowability and lies.Chapter two analyzes Messi's strangeness to self existence.At first, her parents'divorce caused her confusion about her identity and the panic and fear.So she strategically closed herself, protecting herself, and trying to understand the adult world through her own observations.The third chapter discusses that Messi began to learn to speak his own voice, to express his attitude views, and finally learned to control his own life, to face life independently, to become a free to decide their own life, brave to assume responsibility,Existentialist warriors with absolute freedom
