互文性视角下解读威利悲剧命运的必然性

【摘要】：《国王的人马》是由20世纪美国文坛巨匠罗伯特佩恩沃伦创作的一部讲述南方独裁政治的小说，1946年首次出版，次年获普利策奖，1949年被搬上银幕，凭借丰富深邃的文化内涵与独具匠心的艺术魅力被公认为美国现代文学的经典著作，主人公威利斯塔克的人生阅历必然是对当代美国思想观念、价值取向的极好呈现。 “互文性”是由法国后结构主义符号学家茱莉亚克里斯蒂娃首创的概念，意指任何一个文本都是对前文本的吸收和转化，互文性以多维视角揭示了文本之间的普遍联系，为文学评论提供了新角度。鉴于此观点，个人命运的发展过程也恰似一个互文本，是由无数个生活片段交织而成。从历时性而言，个人命运的发展是家庭背景、教育经历和成长环境等客观因素相互作用的结果；从共时性而言，个人命运的发展又无法摆脱所处时代以及历时人生体验所塑造的思维模式和处事方法的制约，，这些片段再现了过往经历和现时条件的交互关系，历时经历和共时环境汇成的交点便呈现出当下的人生。 因此，从这个意义上讲，在互文性视角下解读《国王的人马》中主人公威利斯塔克的命运发展过程是文学评论中的一种全新尝试，能够深入挖掘斯塔克悲剧性人生中蕴含的自我本质以及美国的历史文化，从历时和共时两个角度使读者能够更直观、更立体地解读导致威利斯塔克悲剧命运的必然性，在观察和体验美国社会生活的过程中，客观地看待美国社会的历史和现在，以此来寻求跨文化交际的有效途径。
[Abstract]:The King's Horse is a novel written by 20th century American literary magnate Robert Payne Warren. It was first published in 1946, won a Pulitzer Prize the following year, and was put on screen in 1949. By virtue of its rich and profound cultural connotation and unique artistic charm, it is recognized as a classic work of modern American literature. Willis Tucker's life experience is bound to be an excellent presentation of contemporary American ideology and value orientation. "intertextuality" is a concept initiated by Julia Cristeva, a French post-structuralist semiotics, meaning that any text is the absorption and transformation of the former text. Intertextuality reveals the universal relationship between texts from a multi-dimensional perspective. It provides a new angle for literary criticism. In view of this view, the development of personal destiny is like a mutual text, which is made up of countless fragments of life. From the diachronic point of view, the development of personal destiny is the result of the interaction of family background, educational experience and growth environment. From the synchronic point of view, the development of personal destiny cannot get rid of the constraints of thinking patterns and methods of doing things shaped by the times and the diachronic experience of life. These fragments reproduce the interaction between past experiences and present conditions. The intersection of diachronic experience and synchronic environment presents the present life. Therefore, in this sense, it is a new attempt in literary criticism to interpret the fate of Willis Tucker, the protagonist in the King's Horse, from the perspective of intertextuality. It can deeply explore the self-nature contained in Stark's tragic life and the historical culture of the United States, so that the reader can understand the inevitability of the tragic fate of Willis Tucker more intuitively and stereoscopically from the perspective of diachronic and synchronic. In the course of observing and experiencing American social life, the history and present of American society are viewed objectively in order to find an effective way of cross-cultural communication.
