【摘要】：散文是一种重要的文学形式，长期以来因其独有的特点广受大量作家和读者的喜爱。中国散文源远流长，古代就有很多著名的篇章，至今仍广为流传。五四之后，在新文化运动的影响下，开始采用白话文来写作，散文的形式及选材更加灵活自由。当时便涌现出了很多优秀的作家，通过散文这种文学形式来描写生活，表达情感。其中不乏佳作名篇。这些都是中国文学的宝贵财富，承载着中华名族的精神和文化。 然而遗憾的是，在翻译界中，散文翻译一直相对比较滞后。张培基的《英译现代中国散文选》（共三辑），可以说是弥补了翻译领域的这一空白。翻译美学是一种将翻译与美学结合起来的理论，这一理论尤其适用于文学作品的翻译。 本文从美学这一较新的视角来研究散文翻译，并给出了比较合理的分析。从美学视角来研究散文翻译的确是切实可行的，，并有价值等待进一步的深入研究。本文结合实例对翻译美学的细致解读，希望能对翻译美学这一理论的推广和发展有一些帮助。同时，本文结合翻译美学标准对张培基精彩译文从形式体系到非形式体系的细致分析，可以看出好的散文译文一定要尽可能的再现原文的各种美学价值，希望可以对译者及译文读者有一点参考价值。
