操纵理论视角下张爱玲自译作品中的改写现象探析

【摘要】：张爱玲是中国近代文学史上重要的女性双语作家之一。她独特的写作风格被很多读者和学者所喜爱。然而,一直以来,学术界对她的研究多局限于她的创作而忽略了她在翻译方面的成就和贡献。事实上,张爱玲的翻译活动从20世纪40年代就伴随着她。她不仅翻译过很多外国作家的作品,也自译过自己的许多作品(包括小说、散文)。自译作为一种特殊的翻译形态被越来越多的学者所关注、研究。张爱玲的自译活动具有她自己鲜明的特色。因此,本文试图通过操纵理论的视角研究分析张爱玲的自译作品。 翻译理论家安德烈·勒菲佛尔认为,翻译是对原作的改写,翻译不可能在真空中发生,而是受到内外两种因素的制约和影响。内因指的是专业人士,即教师、评论家和翻译家等。外因主要包括意识形态、诗学和赞助人。在内外因素的共同作用下,翻译家在翻译的过程中对原作进行改写。 本文通过描述分析法从勒菲佛尔的操纵理论的视角探析张爱玲的自译作品。笔者发现了张爱玲自译作品在语言、文化和交际三个层面对原作的改写,并从内外两种因素分析张爱玲自译作品中的改写现象。通过分析,笔者发现自译者本身的翻译观、翻译意图和个人知识以及外部因素诸如意识形态、诗学和赞助人都对自译者的翻译活动产生了不同程度的影响。
