契诃夫戏剧的历史命运

【摘要】：正一契诃夫既是小说家,又是戏剧家。列夫?托尔斯泰对小说家契诃夫评价极高,称他是"散文中的普希金"。但托翁对戏剧家契诃夫评价极低,他当面对契诃夫说过:"莎士比亚的戏写得不好,你写得更糟。"莫斯科小剧院首席演员连斯基也曾劝契诃夫不要再写剧本。因此,契诃夫把《海鸥》交给了彼得堡的皇家剧院。1896年10月17日,《海鸥》在那里首演,
[Abstract]:Chekhov is both a novelist and a dramatist. Lev? Tolstoy spoke highly of the novelist Chekhov, calling him Pushkin in Prose. But Toronne had a very low opinion of the dramatist Chekhov. He told Chekhov: "Shakespeare's plays are not well written, you write worse." Linsky, the chief actor at Moscow's Little Theatre, also advised Chekhov not to write any more plays. So Chekhov gave Seagull to the Royal Theatre in Petersburg, where it premiered on October 17, 1896.
