威尔第歌剧《法尔斯塔夫》赋格终曲研究
[Abstract]:"Falstaff" is a happy opera that Verdi has been waiting for more than half a century. He created a true example of Falstaff, a happy rogue, with more refined musical techniques, and created a relaxed one. A unique world of humor and intelligent laughter. When Verdi agreed to compose the script from Shakespeare, he first conceived, wrote a comedy fugue and used it at the end of the opera to reveal the secret of Falstaff's happiness. Falstaff leads to the theme: "everything in the world is a joke, man is a born clown." it is a derision of himself and others, revealing the endless vicissitudes of life behind the giggles of opera. Echoing the mockery of the fugue, the composer actually made a light academic joke in his fugue writing, and the strict and bold fugue combined music and drama closely. As the last musical drama in his career, Verdi incorporated his speechless autobiography. The opera protagonist's pursuit of happiness, self-confidence, and regret for the passing of youth are all his deepest feelings. In this happy opera, written for himself for the first time, Verdi combines his long history of innovation with the wisdom of his zigzag life. Created the true Shakespeare human comedy classic, with the wisdom of laughter to his life and writing career to a satisfactory end. The Fugue finale, who laughs best at the end, is not only Farstave's victory, but also a true portrayal of the composer himself. This paper is divided into four parts. The first chapter mainly introduces the general creation of opera "Falstaff": the failure of Xi opera "one day as king" does not make Verdi give up his desire to create another happy opera. But accumulated more life wisdom and musical drama creation skill through the long creation practice career. Verdi condensed his life's ideals and wishes in this comedy that had been looking forward to for more than half a century. Only the true Shakespeare comedy meets the essential requirements of Verdi's comedy creation. The second chapter analyzes the musical ontology of fugue finale and its significance in the whole opera. The need to create musical plays has led the composer to study the art of fugue. In this finale he combines fugue tradition and novelty to create a polyphonic victory. This fugue is a starting point and destination for the whole opera. The third chapter analyzes the significance of this fugue in the career of a composer, and further understands Verdi and his Falstaff by combing the historical evaluation of the comedy. Even if there are similarities in musical expression with Wagner, it is definitely not surrender to him. Instead, Verdi shows in this comedy the natural fruits of his ongoing reform of Italian musical drama; Falstaff not only proves that he can write opera works, but also a masterpiece in the history of Italian opera. The fourth chapter is the conclusion of this paper. Through the analysis of the full text, we can know that the final Fugue of Falstaff is the soul of the comedy music and drama. Whether as the finale of an opera work or as the end of a composer's life creation, it means a profound meaning: it is not only the revelation of the true connotation of opera, but also the summary and sublimation of the composer's lifetime struggle.
