[Abstract]:In the publishing industry of the late Ming Dynasty, "Huizhou style" is a phenomenon that can not be ignored. The so-called "Huizhou style" refers to the publishing phenomenon that appeared during the Wanli period when Huizhou became a new center of engraving books. Its concrete performance can be summarized as follows: the extensive participation of Huizhou engraving workers in publishing activities, the popularity of Huizhou products, and the active activity of Huizhou book workshop owners. Especially in the south of the Yangtze River, these phenomena are very obvious. In previous studies, they were often summed up as so-called "Huizhou print", but with the in-depth investigation and understanding of "engraved book system", including print, book shop, printing industry, urban culture, etc. A reexamination of this view is apparent
