音乐剧《伙伴们》音乐戏剧结构分析

【摘要】：斯蒂芬·桑德海姆(Stephen Joshua Sondheim)是美国著名的音乐剧作曲家、词作家,曾多次获得奥斯卡奖、托尼奖、格莱美奖等重要戏剧、音乐、影视奖项,他也是音乐剧创作中少有的作曲兼作词一人包办的创作人。他被称为"概念音乐剧"的鼻祖。本文通过他的"概念音乐剧"代表作《伙伴们》(Company),分析概念音乐剧结构特色,以及不同类型的音乐剧在音乐戏剧结构构思上的差别和共同点,由此体现出音乐剧创作结构构思的重要性,探索结构手法的新思路。本文通过对桑德海姆创作历程中创作思维转变的剖析,对于何为概念音乐剧、剧情音乐剧以及对音乐戏剧结构等名词的说明,对《伙伴们》音乐戏剧结构的具体分析,再结合自己在研究生期间创作的原创剧情音乐剧《小城之春》的音乐戏剧结构分析,来比较概念音乐剧和剧情音乐剧在音乐戏剧结构上构思的相同点和不同点。在音乐剧创作的结构构思上,对自己作品的定位是十分重要的,要根据不同的故事创作适合表达主旨或是塑造人物的音乐戏剧结构方式。尽管是不同类型的作品,仍必须坚守一些音乐剧创作共同的原则,比如用音乐讲故事,多创造适合音乐发挥并且推动故事发展变化的场面等等。通过这一系列的论述,对于音乐剧创作的结构设计提出理论上的思考和启发。
[Abstract]:Stephen Sandheim (Stephen Joshua Sondheim) is a famous musical composer and ci writer in the United States. He has won many Oscars, Tony Awards, Grammy Awards and other important drama, music, film and television awards. He is also the rare composer and composer of musical works. He was called the ancestor of the concept musical. This paper analyzes the structural characteristics of concept musicals and the differences and common points of different musical types in the structure of musical drama through (Company), his masterpiece of "concept Musical". This reflects the importance of musical creative structure, exploring the new ideas of structural techniques. Based on the analysis of the change of creative thinking in Sandheim's creative process, this paper explains what is the concept musical, the plot musical and the structure of musical drama, and analyzes the structure of the musical drama of "partner". Combined with the music drama structure analysis of the original drama musical "Spring of the small Town" created by oneself during the graduate school, this paper compares the similarities and differences between the conceptual musical and the plot musical in the structure of musical drama. In the structure conception of musical creation, it is very important to position one's own works. Although different types of work, we must adhere to some of the common principles of musical creation, such as the use of music to tell stories, create more suitable music play and promote the story development and change, and so on. Through this series of argumentation, it puts forward the theoretical thinking and inspiration for the structure design of musical creation.
