对媒介转换中电影和文学关系的透视

【摘要】:在以影像文化为基本特征的大众文化的重重包围,作为纸质媒介的文学正面临着电影、电视、网络、电子游戏等各种样式的电子媒介的巨大冲击。本文仅选择电影媒介作为文学媒介的参照物,一方面是因为电影是电子媒介中诞生最早、发展较成熟、理论较完备、艺术性与市场性结合较密切的文化样式,另一方面是为了更有针对性地反思在以视觉文化为主导的“眼球经济”大潮中,文学自身的发展之路。 本文的立论点在于麦克卢汉的“媒介即讯息”理论。对于在传播学角度都可被称为是媒介(人的延伸)的文学与电影,,本文以麦氏的“任何一种媒介的内容都是另一种媒介”出发,以电影诞生以来100余年两者联姻的发展历程为历时层面,以两者的天然联系与基本差异为共时层面,梳理了与电影与文学作为媒介的互渗与区别。 全文共分为四个部分。第一部分是回顾电影诞生以来,它从文学里汲取的养料。这不仅限于文学叙事结构、语言对白、场景刻画等在电影从奇技淫巧发展到“第七艺术”中起到的关键作用,更重要的是文学(主要是小说)作为电影的母体,为其提供了源源不断的素材。 第二部分是回到当下现实,关注文学与电影联姻的新动向以及由文学向电影靠拢所带来的文学电影化趋势。该部分从中国作家介入电影创作的四种基本方式入手,分析由此带来的文学作品在题材内容、创作手法、思想内涵、语言风格上的巨大变迁。 第三部分是针对文学电影化的趋势,探析这一变化对文学造成的影响利弊。并进一步从表现形态、情节结构、涉猎题材、创作方式及受众层面对两者区别进行细分。指出作为两门独立的艺术,电影与文学始终存在着不可转换的本质属性。 第四部分从电影和文学媒介转换方式的最新趋势为切入点,通过展现中国与美国在影片改编方式上的微妙区别,折射出中国文学在影视冲击下的潜在危机。但回溯二三部分对文学特性的铺垫,作者相信中国文学与世界文学一道有着光明的未来。 WP=3 在文化研究遍地开花的时代里,对文学与传播学、社会学等学科间的交叉渗透研究日益深入。但作者认为,对文学与电影关系泛泛而谈者多,但较系统的以媒介理论介入者少有。本文借麦克卢汉的媒介理论来梳理100年来电影与文学互动的发展之路以及最新趋势,但作者的重心还是回到文学,展望新世纪(中国)文学的前途所在!
[Abstract]:With the mass culture as the basic characteristic of the image culture, the literature as the paper medium is facing the huge impact of various kinds of electronic media such as film, television, network, electronic game and so on. This paper only chooses the film medium as the reference material of the literary medium. On the one hand, it is because the film is the cultural style of the earliest birth of electronic media, more mature development, more complete theory, and closer combination of art and market. On the other hand, it aims to reflect on the development of literature itself in the tide of eyeball economy, which is dominated by visual culture. The point of this thesis lies in McLuhan's "medium is message" theory. For literature and film, which can be called media (extension of human beings) in the angle of communication, this article starts from "the content of any kind of medium is another medium". Taking the development of the marriage between the two in more than 100 years since the birth of the film as the diachronic plane, taking the natural connection and the basic difference of the two as the synchronic plane, this paper combs the mutual infiltration and difference between the film and the literature as the medium. The full text is divided into four parts. The first part is a review of the film since its birth, it draws from literature nourishment. This is not only limited to the structure of literary narration, language dialogue, scene portrayal and so on, which plays a key role in the film's development from whimsical technique to "the seventh art". More importantly, literature (mainly the novel) is the mother body of the film. To provide it with a continuous flow of material. The second part is to return to the present reality, pay attention to the new trend of the marriage of literature and film and the trend of literature film. This part begins with four basic ways for Chinese writers to intervene in film creation, and analyzes the great changes in subject matter, creative techniques, ideological connotation and language style brought about by this. The third part is to analyze the influence of this change on literature. And further from the performance form, plot structure, dabbling in subject matter, creative way and audience level to divide the difference between the two. It is pointed out that as two independent arts, film and literature always have irrevocable nature. The fourth part, from the perspective of the latest trend of the transformation of film and literary media, shows the subtle differences between China and the United States in the mode of film adaptation, reflecting the potential crisis of Chinese literature under the impact of film and television. But looking back on the two or three parts of the foreshadowing of literary characteristics, the author believes that Chinese literature and world literature together have a bright future. WP=3 In the era of cultural studies blooming everywhere, the cross-permeation of literature and communication, sociology and other disciplines is increasingly in-depth. However, the author thinks that there are many people who talk about the relationship between literature and film, but few are involved in the media theory. This article uses McLuhan's media theory to sort out the development and the latest trend of the interaction between film and literature in the past 100 years, but the author's focus is still back to literature, looking forward to the future of literature in the new century (China)!
