文学翻译中审美再现的三个层面

【摘要】:严格地说,文学翻译是语言再现的艺术,是审美的翻译。作为语言再现的艺术,文学翻译需用另一种语言(译语)去再现原作的美,这样它便具有审美体验和审美再现的过程。本研究首先探讨了文学翻译的本质特征,,进而从前人的翻译审美观念出发,提出了文学翻译中审美再现的三个层面:即语言结构层面、形象体系层面和艺术风格层面。在语言结构层面,本研究着重分析了文学翻译中语言的特点以及文学翻译中所需要审美再现的美感因素,并提出了审美再现这些美感因素的方法;在形象体系层面,本研究着重探讨了意象和意境这两个审美再现的核心内容及其怎样去再现它们;而在艺术风格层面,本研究从前人的翻译风格论出发,着重分析了翻译的风格问题,进而讨论了再现原作风格的两种方式。该研究有别于传统翻译审美中的内容与形式的分析法。它强调用层面观来分析文学翻译的审美再现,并指出这三个层面既相互依存相互联系又具有相对的独立性;同时,这三个层面又是内容与形式的统一体。用层面观来探讨文学翻译中审美再现的规律,既是对前人有关文学翻译审美层面观的继承和发展,又是一种新的尝试和探索,这种分析模式避免了传统翻译审美中内容与形式二分法的机械割裂的缺陷,贯穿了内容与形式相统一的辩证法,更符合人们的审美体验。本论文所采用的理论模式是中西艺术和文学翻译艺术史上的层面观念,尤其是陈西滢的翻译“三似论”以及当代文学理论家童庆炳的“文学文本层面论”,它结合语言学、文学、美学、认知心理学、翻译理论以及阅读知识来加以论证。
[Abstract]:Strictly speaking, literary translation is the art of language reproduction and aesthetic translation. As the art of language reproduction, literary translation needs another language (target language) to reproduce the beauty of the original work, so that it has the process of aesthetic experience and aesthetic reproduction. This study first explores the essential features of literary translation, and then puts forward three levels of aesthetic representation in literary translation: language structure, image system and artistic style. At the level of language structure, this study focuses on the characteristics of language in literary translation and the aesthetic factors needed for aesthetic representation in literary translation, and puts forward the methods of aesthetic representation of these aesthetic factors, and at the level of image system. This study focuses on image and artistic conception, which are the core contents of aesthetic reappearance and how to reproduce them, while on the level of artistic style, this study focuses on the analysis of translation style from the perspective of translation style of former human beings. Then two ways of reproducing the original style are discussed. This study is different from the analysis of content and form in traditional translation aesthetics. It emphasizes the aesthetic representation of literary translation from a stratification perspective, and points out that these three layers are interdependent and independent, and at the same time, they are the unity of content and form. It is not only a new attempt and exploration to explore the law of aesthetic reproduction in literary translation from the perspective of stratification, but also to inherit and develop the aesthetic view of literary translation. This model avoids the mechanical disjunction of the dichotomy of content and form in traditional translation aesthetics, and runs through the dialectics of the unity of content and form, which is more in line with the aesthetic experience of people. The theoretical model adopted in this thesis is the concept of "three similarities" in the history of Chinese and Western art and literary translation, especially Chen Xiying's translation "three similitude" and the contemporary literary theorist Tong Qingbing's "literary text theory", which combines linguistics. Literature, aesthetics, cognitive psychology, translation theory and reading knowledge to demonstrate.
