英汉文学翻译中文化障碍的处理

【摘要】：本论文旨在研究英汉文学翻译中文化障碍的处理方法。本人研究了许多中外学者对于该论题的观点,在本论文的第二章得到这样的论点:文学翻译和文化之间是相互影响相互促进的,并且得出这样的概念,目的语读者难于理解的源语文化被称作文化障碍。为了解决这些文化障碍本文先介绍了三种基本翻译策略,即异化,归化以及全球化。通过分析了许多英译汉和汉译英的例子,本人得出了这样的结论:归化和异化都有不足之处,选择哪个策略取决于是否忠于原文的这样一个标准。从利于文化交流和引进文化的角度,越来越多的翻译倾向于异化。引进全球化这个概念和策略是为了让更多的弱势文化如中国文化走向世界。接下来的一章总结了一些解决文化障碍的具体的方法,主要分为两种,即保持原文化和自由译法。通过研究分析大量的文学翻译的作品,总结了运用这些具体方法的四条原则。论文最后介绍了翻译理论家王东风归纳的文化障碍翻译策略系统和张南峰介绍的艾克西拉的文化专有项翻译策略分类方法。这两种体系可供翻译工作人员处理文化障碍时参考。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this thesis is to study the treatment of cultural barriers in English-Chinese literary translation. I have studied the views of many Chinese and foreign scholars on this topic. In the second chapter of this thesis, I have obtained the argument that literary translation and culture interact and promote each other, and come to such a concept. The source culture, which is difficult for the target language readers to understand, is called a cultural barrier. In order to solve these cultural obstacles, this paper first introduces three basic translation strategies: alienation, domestication and globalization. By analyzing many examples of English-Chinese translation and C-E translation, I draw a conclusion that both domestication and alienation have shortcomings, and the choice of strategy depends on the criterion of whether or not to be faithful to the original text. From the point of view of facilitating cultural exchange and introducing culture, more and more translation tends to alienation. The concept and strategy of globalization is introduced in order to make more weak culture such as Chinese culture to the world. The following chapter summarizes some specific ways to solve cultural obstacles, which are divided into two types: preserving the original culture and translating freely. By studying and analyzing a large number of literary translation works, this paper summarizes the four principles of applying these specific methods. Finally, the thesis introduces the translation strategies system of cultural barriers summarized by translation theorist Wang Dongfeng and the classification method of culture-specific items translation strategies introduced by Zhang Nanfeng. These two systems can be used by translators to deal with cultural barriers.
