从生态翻译学角度看李文俊翻译《喧哗与骚动》

【摘要】：威廉·福克纳作品The Sound and the Fury是意识流小说经典之一，迄今为止，研究文章已汗牛充栋。1982年，李文俊先生首次将其译成中文，译名《喧哗与骚动》。当代作家莫言、王蒙等无不坦言受到过李文俊先生译本的影响。然而至今为止，关于该译文的翻译研究仍然屈指可数，乏善可陈。因此本文取道“寥落小径”，试图描绘其中令人深思的翻译活动，全面解析翻译环境对翻译现象的影响。本文以生态翻译学为理论框架，在第一章中将对该生态学方法进行简要介绍。生态翻译学，不同于文学中的翻译批评，是“生态机制”和“翻译活动”的抽象比拟，其中“整体和谐”和“选择适应”对翻译活动的借鉴意义最大。由于该理论起步较晚，发展尚未成熟，但是它对翻译和原文“多维度对等的平衡之美”具有较强的解释力，同时也比“语境”更为全面地考察翻译环境对翻译活动的影响。译文《喧哗与骚动》中有多处翻译现象值得深入研究，例如对原文形式的模拟和调整、对原文文化的取代、译者译本的选择和前言中的解释。为了说理清晰，论文将分为两个章节，分别就原文的翻译环境与对应的翻译现象，和译文的翻译环境与对应的翻译现象进行探讨解说，希望能为The Sound and the Fury的中译本研究和生态翻译学的理论架构做出一点贡献。
[Abstract]:William Faulkner's novel The Sound and the Fury is one of the classics of stream-of-consciousness novels. So far, the research articles have been filled with sweat. In 1982, Li Wenjun translated it into Chinese for the first time, translated as "the Sound and the Fury". Contemporary writers such as Mo Yan and Wang Meng have been influenced by Li Wenjun's translation. So far, however, the translation studies on the translation of this translation are few and far between. Therefore, this paper attempts to describe the thought-provoking translation activities and analyze the impact of translation environment on translation phenomena. Based on the theoretical framework of ecological translation, this paper briefly introduces the ecological method in chapter one. Eco-translation, unlike translation criticism in literature, is an abstract analogy between "ecological mechanism" and "translation activity", in which "overall harmony" and "choice adaptation" have the greatest significance for translation activities. Since the theory started late and has not yet matured, it has a strong explanatory power to the "balanced beauty of multi-dimensional equivalence" between the translation and the original text, and it also makes a more comprehensive study of the impact of the translation environment on translation activities than the "context". There are a number of translation phenomena in the translation of the Sound and the Fury that deserve further study, such as the simulation and adjustment of the original form, the replacement of the original culture, the choice of the translator's translation and the explanation of the preface. In order to be clear, the thesis will be divided into two chapters, respectively, on the original translation environment and corresponding translation phenomenon, and the target translation environment and corresponding translation phenomenon. It is hoped that it will contribute a little to The Sound and the Fury's Chinese translation research and the theoretical framework of ecological translation.
