【摘要】：在文学翻译活动中,译者首先要作为一名读者面对作者以及作者的创造物,所以,用一种什么样的态度来看待作者及其创造物就显得尤为重要了,这就需要对文艺批评界关于作者及其创造物的认识发展有一个系统的研究。只有如此,才能了解作者及其创造物地位的演变与发展,对各种研究的进步与不足有一个总体认识,进而指导翻译实践。 在本文中,笔者首先介绍了作者及文本地位的演变。作为创造者的作者一开始拥有着无可置疑的权威地位,他的意图被当做理解的终极目标,但是,随着结构主义语言学的建立,其创造物也开始被作为可以单独存在的文本来解读,作者的地位受到了巨大冲击。其后,解构主义思潮到来。在罗兰·巴特、福柯和德里达等人的“作者死亡”论调下,作者跌下了神坛,文本成为了各种意义的源泉,读者则成为了理解的唯一主体。这一剧变,在给人们带来强烈的震撼的同时,也引发了人们对于作者及其创造物在阅读、翻译过程中的地位进行重新思考。因为如此下去,人们将会陷入无法沟通的尴尬境地。 为了重新建构对意义的理解,笔者借用以普遍语用学为理论基础的建构主义翻译学分析了各种流派的缺陷与局限性,从理论上提出了要重新认识作者及文本的地位：在文学翻译活动中,作者需要复活,文本也需要回归。
